This is an outstanding phone! I have mine over 3 years now and not a one single problem. In a contrary, I've dropped it in a toilet once (just bought it) and he went out immediately. I opened it and dried it, and it works ever since. I've dropped it thousand times and he still endures me... You just won't find that quality in this newer phones. You drop it and display immediately cracks. So, 6230i is my favorite phone of all times. Just have to get a new battery 'cause this old lost capacity.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-09-07 16:50 from fq5gThere are options for the ringer in the settings.
You can set it to vibrate only or beep or ring or ascending. You may have to change the setting there.
I'm sorry I don't have this phone with me else I would have walked you through the menu step by step.
Cheers.

Pls between dis phone and nokia 5000 which of them is the best. I mean which of them can open web pages easier and faster than the other, and can also upload pics to facebook and yahoomail, and also with a nice sound quality. Which of them downloads faster. Which of them conserves battery more than the other. Jus 4get about mmc which 6230i has
over 5000.

Guys I have read diferrent reviews and comments on different types of 4nes Nokia, Samsung, SEs, Motorola, name it...and what I've come 2 realise is that of all reviews, NOKIA 6230i has the least cons. Practically every 4ne has a heap of problems, even the most recent ones-inclusive of Nokias. If only Nokia guys could just take some time sit down and meditate on the secrets that made the 6230 such a success, I believe they'd come up with another masterpiece of a phone..
