Like everyone else I agree this phone is fantastic. I have used mine continuously since 2005 with no problems. I am on my second battery. It has been dropped many times but always takes it. It's late 2011 and looking at what's available I still can't find a reason to replace it. This old model is something special. Everything works fantastically. I used to sync it to my old laptop with infra red now I sync it with bluetooth. The camera is sweet. The call quality is high. I love the wallet function. Only minor complaints are the (known) random screensaver light up bug. The (known) bug that crashes it after x no. of button pushes (my third happened last week) and the slow response of the music player.
If you own this phone you were at the right place at the right time in history. Be grateful. I am.

Everyone makes fun of me for still using this phone but I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one! This phone never dies! I am starting to get a few battery problems but the phone has become part of my life I can't let go.

I'm using this phone for 5 years. no i have a problem on charging the phone. My charging port is broken and I've difficulties in charging it. OMG..

probably the the best ever device from Nokia and maybe from others as well but I do not know them.I use it for 5 years.Great built quality.Never let me down.Camera is very week.Key pad is exeptional fine.Letters of SMS are big and readable.Email letters are too small almost no visible.No possibility to get them bigger.Phoning voics crystal clear and loud,never disturbed.In case anybody could offer any better phone today by Nokia I would buy it-but with heavy hearts only.Thank you Nokia.Please make such phones again.

I got my 6230i as a gift from a friend back in sep 2005. I must say it's one the best user friendly phones I have ever used, and the camera is exceptional. I was once outstation on work & the phone stopped working altogether, it did not even charge. When I took it to phone shop the guy said that that the "software is gone" so I asked him if there was anything he could do to get it going. I was away from home & need to keep in touch as I have two small kids. He had got it going by that evening when I went over to collect it, I was very thankful, but recently the battery started to run down to like on full charge half a day max. What now??

I've had my Nokia 6230i for a couple of years and its wonderful. My question is - as the cigarette lighter in my car does not work - DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A HANDSFREE KIT THAT WOULD SUIT THIS PHONE without being attached to the cigarette lighter. I have to admit to being not very mechanically minded; so take me gently. Thanks E.

I have got this GREAT Nokia 6230i for years and LOVE IT. I wish Nokia could make it again with a long life batteries, because this phone is BRILLIANT.

I bought 1 gb mmc card two years before and I used it with 6230i. It works excellent!
I pictured with lumix photo cam that included 2 gb mmc card. Then I got copy that images(volum of every images are about 3 Mb) to phone's internal memory by FileExplorer with my 6230i! Truely I changed 5 times mmc cards. Becouse phones internal memoryis 20 MB!
