I have this phone for a month and the only word about it is: AMAZING! The photo quality is not really good (the image is interpolated at the maximum resolution), but first of all it's a phone, not a compact camera. If you need good picture, go for a compact camera (eg. Canon A610), not for an expensive phone like Nokia N92.
The MP3 quality is very good, as well as the software and battery life - 4 days with average usage (calls + applications + mp3)

BATTERY SUX!

It can be true if you're not lucky just like me.. it's been in Nokia for 3 weeks now.. and no news just yet.

If you're lucky, it works great.. too bad.. but I heard so many complaints about the battery. just weird.

Shame on Nokia!!
1. u can assign personal tones by making group, then you can assign the tone for that group. So if you have 10 person with special tones, you'll have to make 10 group for eac of them.
2. screen brightness, i dont think it can be adjusted..that's the way it is.
3. Alarm sound is ascending..that's the way it is
4. bluetooth sign should be the bluetooth logo I suppose.

NO, it doesn't come with USB cable.

I change phones quite often, but I've had the 6230i for almost a year, it is the best and most complete phone I've ever owned. I feel like if I switched to a different model now I'd be sacrificing features that the 6230i has. Highly recommended!

Lucky you Thio! You've 33 hours operating of your 6230i. Look at me.. when I bought this 'sucker' 6230i I've only got maximum 24 hours operated of the batery lifetime a day. Now, after about 2 months I'm using this phone, I've only 13 hours standby time. I already change with the new batery but at least I've got only 16-17 hours operating. I've tried to fixed this problem to the Nokia Center but still can find any problems. Until my friend at the office call me "The Charger Man". You know what? I must bring the charger everytime everyday everywhere beside my 6230i. Poor me.. oops.. poor Nokia!

Thio, I have the same problem and now my cellphone is in the NPC for repair. Crazy isn't it, only after a few days of usage they refuse to give 1 to 1 replacement. Probably will undergo a engine change. I suppose this is the design defect of the N6230i. It's quite often heard here about the battery. If you're lucky it's working fine, if not, battery sux. Other function works very well.

I buy this 6230i 2weeks ago. For the first time I'm very salute. The features are very completed. The first menu I try is the "Ring Tone": the ringer not to loud even I'm setting to the high level: 5. Then I'm found: the batery life only 33 hours operated even only for the standby (no use for the call. no use for the sms & no using the other menus). Uh poor Nokia. I will sell it! Haree genee koq batere boros!

Nokia has come out with a phone which is EXCELLENT for those who want performance NOT looks, with N6230i you can do any thing, it will be good if Nokia launches a new version of 6230i with 256K display and Email attachements.
