hey my friend has this fone and it takes really long to like laod the menu or something or wen ur scrolling it takes a wile to move so jus a warning

i got this phone yesterday.. the soft is great, but it is ugly (the shape is ugly) and the fonts are horrible! why on earth would they have different fonts for 6230i than for 6230?? and... why these horrible fonts? were they blind or something? i miss the look of the calendar of my old nokia 3100.... the only thing that made me keep this phone was the soft.. but I'll probably regret it.. because i don't like the way it looks.. not at all.

is nokia 6230i is a symbiam 60 phone?

i'm sick of this phone. i bough it 6 weeks ago and it spent more than 3 weeks in the service. the bluetooth stops working after 2-3 files. it loses network and doesn't get it back, without restarting the phone. after i restart it it's back to normal. should have bought samsung d500 or sony ericsson k750i

my phone is now 5 months old and it doesn't work as a result I got lost in a big Spanish city the other day and I was unable to call my friends to arange a meeting place seriously unamused!!!!!!!
Had to take it back to shop after just 16 days and then 3 times after that in first 6 weeks.
Have had so many problems with it. Wich you don't really expect when you've just forked out £200 hard cash.

After a few days...
Yes, my N6230i still drains the battery fast after I exchange my battery with my friend's, while he used my battery. After 24 hours, it goes the same. While my original battery which my friend used for 24 hours still looking good and full eventhough he was using it often. SO, battery is not the problem.
Then today I went to Nokia and had it checked again.. Just sad to have a new phone like this. It's like an old/used phone :o((( I just hope the engine is broken and they will give me a new package :o)

.wav files must be converted to mp3 or aac.

i don't really remember but it's something like this. Go to the contact name, and view detail. go to option and add picture to this contact. Voila!

You can not assign individual ringtone for each contact as in previous/lower model Nokia. First make a group. Say FAMILY, then add your family contact to that group. After that you can assign the ringtone for the FAMILY Group. SO everyone in that group will have the same ringtone. I know, it's such a pain if you wanna assign so many tones to so many contacts, that means you need to make as many Group for that.

It's a very good phone , but it does not support all .wav files. Can anyone suggest how to play wav files in this phone.And i am using 64 mb card, but its slow compared to 3230, Why.????
