maybe your memory card and the phone memory is fuller then it was when you brought the phone. because of this the phone work slower. if its very bother you, try to erase pictuares or music from the inside phone memory, or to transfer it to the memory card.

Got the phone at last! But barely a week, i noticed when scrolling through the menus, the phone seems very slow. Though it wasn't like that when i first bought it. What seems to be the problem?

The sound volume is not so good right?Not very know about this phone yet as i didn't get the phone yet,will get it tomorrow.(Paid already,waiting for shipping now)
And how about the battery?
If this phone is not good,i rather give it to my friend then.

My friend has the same problem. You need to get your phone software upgraded via a Nokia Care Centre. It seems to be a problem with a particular batch.

You need to upload the .jad or .jar files via Nokia PC Suite. you cant just put them on your memory card.

the nokia 6230i some times have a crap battery life my ne lasts 7 hours i say ya better off with a 6230

Hey ppl...today I bought this phone. I kinda like it. The only thing that I hate is that games don't work if they are on the MMC; Does anybody know how u can make them work?

This is the best phone of nokia play's every thing camera quality is amazing 1.3 megapixel still movie every this simply in word best phone of nokia.... i love it 6230i

im really upset because when i play music which is stored on the memory card it stops at the middle of the song for no reason is any of you having the same problem??? help because i will cry

when i take pictures when im at home and is dark then pictures are not good but when i take them in day light they da best. wideo are rubish

I have a nokia 6230i...and i want to install more games...but i do not have enough memory..just 1 mega...but at nokia 6230 u can install more...how can i set up my phone to install more games..not just 1 Mb

Well i barely have the phone for 1year so im no "expert" but heres what i know:
1)wav and avi are not suported, u have to convert them -check older posts
2)PUSH-TALK is explained in the manual
3)most phones dont have stereo neither does6230i but it still sounds damn good.
4)format played by 6230i:AAC,3GP,3GP2,MP4 audio,MIDI,MXMF; Pictures: JPG,GIF. NOT BMP
5)vibration WORKS, go to setings
6)fast-forward only works with streaming meaning listening to music on the internet
7)to turn volume up use the 2way buton on the left side of the phone
8)to change menu just push the menu buton and pres option->select->LIST OR GRID
9)yes my screen also has anoyng particles and im looking for someone to clean it
10)diference between 24 and 64chanels is the QUALITY. for details look it up on the internet
11)for all who think 6230i needs to be louder i sugest using the headset and if its still not enough then buy yourself a 5.1 suround sistem cuz it costs about the same.
