Well i barely have the phone for 1year so im no "expert" but heres what i know:
1)wav and avi are not suported, u have to convert them -check older posts
2)PUSH-TALK is explained in the manual
3)most phones dont have stereo neither does6230i but it still sounds damn good.
4)format played by 6230i:AAC,3GP,3GP2,MP4 audio,MIDI,MXMF; Pictures: JPG,GIF. NOT BMP
5)vibration WORKS, go to setings
6)fast-forward only works with streaming meaning listening to music on the internet
7)to turn volume up use the 2way buton on the left side of the phone
8)to change menu just push the menu buton and pres option->select->LIST OR GRID
9)yes my screen also has anoyng particles and im looking for someone to clean it
10)diference between 24 and 64chanels is the QUALITY. for details look it up on the internet
11)for all who think 6230i needs to be louder i sugest using the headset and if its still not enough then buy yourself a 5.1 suround sistem cuz it costs about the same.

Bought N6230i with v03.62 last January. Got corrupted everytime i use GPRS!. Already reflashed with the same version but problem persists! HELP please ...

(1). I am already using Nokia 6230 which is not supporting Wav format files
& Avi files, does those file format works in Nokia 6230i.
(2). What is the difference between 24 channel & 64 Channel in ring tones.
(3). Does the ring volume in Nokia 6230i will be more than Nokia 6230.
(4). What is Push to talk in 6230i? How can we use it?
(5). What is AAC/M4A stereo player in 6230i? Which file format does this players play?
(6). What is 3GPP/MPEG4 video player in 6230i? Which file format does this players play?
Any one answer pls.

I am a user of Nokia 6230i. Recently the phone has developed problem, i.e. the camera operation always failed anytime I have tried using it.
What is the cause and how could it be resolved?
The phone has not fallen down before, what might be the cause?.

N230i is simply the best!
i would like to inquire if i could edit my images without affecting its resolution because as i have observed, everytime i edit my images and save it with a new name or in a new folder, the resolution decreases. how can i possibly solve this problem? please reply, anyone!!! please!!! please!!! thanks!

when i change theme on my mobile then my ringtone automaticly change and the volume and the colour scale change is that normal? and the sound is poor i cant even listen to the music beacause its so quiet how can i turn wolume up and when i select grip in the gallery it doesnt save hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllpppppppp

great phone and had it for three months now but only problem is small particles or dirt will easily get through inside the screen.the vibration not powerful enough unlike 6230.very durable coz i dropped it a couple of times and amazingly still works.best buy and worth it.

come on.. what a horrible phone.
browser is not so good. not xhtml in my opinion.
it is only wap, i think.
Other issue is charging the phone. if u want to charge it while it is open. it is not being charged. because screensaver comes out and uses the power.
Is there any way to eliminate screen saver while charging.
Charge is not so good. only 4 days(without using any specs of this phone).
i will change mine.

to Val: sory i didnt mention this earlyer, recording works as much as u have left internal memory. remember to turn off default option at camera recording.

My dear 6230i newbies :)
it seems that some of you are confused with the phone capabilitys.
1) if you want to view video files or listen to quality music on the 6230, use a converter (xilisoft) for example.just download it free version and search for the crack.
2) as for those who want free games, themes etc for the phone then use DC++ and search for it. (remember files are NTH - themes)
3) file transfer, use DKU USB or spend a little more on a bluetooth transmiter (very eficient)
4) memory card, maximum size is 512 but there might be a posibility that a 1GB card would work too.
