I've been using this phone for the past few weeks and I guess the only problem I'm facing would be the battery problem. Now I've switched off my Screensaver, also not using any of the features this phone has provided, but it doesn't even last more than 6-8 hrs. Is something wrong with the battery?
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem as I am?

To watch videos in the media player they need to be .3gp files.

Got the earlier verssion (6230) & the only probs i`ve had is transferring mp3`s over via dongle...after pairing devices & transferring contacts from phone to pc-tried to put music from pc to fone & fone wasn`t even recognised-confused or wot,even mailed the Nokia site with this & after d/loading latest software,still wouldn`t work so I gave up!!!Have yet to try a USB cable tho,got to be better than dongle...Also have trouble sending MMS over-always get "exceeds limit by ***kps" but have no probs in recieving them-FM radio`s great(the only way I can hear music tho!!!)
Any help wiv these probs would be appreciated.many thanks

It works with 1024MB MMC also, use a card reader for fast transfer, by cable it doesn't know full speed USB 2.0 transfers.

i wud like to know wat type of file format is needed for a video clip to play in the media player. i tried a dat file but not working.

just got 6230i and i want to transfer files from phone onto my laptop.im using a Mac at the moment.is there a cable for doing this onto a mac or does it only transfer onto windows

The Phone of Phones!!! Well not anymore but i use this phone on a daily basis. It's just the perfect packaged phone. The only things i dont like are when viewing photos with thumbnail list it gets slow, Dirt (in my case tabacco) gets under the screen easily but atleast the covers come off so its cleanable, battery life is about 2.5 days standby on low usage. For MP3's use a data cable or even better a memory card reader (faster) btw it's 100% a 65k TFT screen

The funny thing is that in the past I used to hate Nokia for its ignorance of or insuficient attention to phone features other than core-to-a-phone ones, but then I came to the understanding that Nokia is a PHONE manufacturer, you hear me - P H O N E !

Hey you guys, is there any1 staying and still asking for and about opinions on this phone? DON'T ask ever again, this phone is simply the BEST !!! Even if any producer even Nokia makes a phone in 50 years, which washes clothes, does ironing, plays DVD disks, fires on terrorists, does the job of a fridge/freezer and so on, 6230i will remain as the best phone ever made !!!

Its my dream phone. very compact and having all the feature like camer, video, mp3, radio, blutooth etc. its great I love it very much. NOKIA IS BEST
