Always use standard memory card because simple cards are made from NAND circuits which increases latch time and causes slow data transfer under each clock pulse and the dma controller floats the processor which results hanging problem. Standard cards have advanced circuitory to avoid these problems
Fragmentation can also slows the phone. If you have the sd card reader then put your micro sd card in the reader via sd card adapter and defrag it with windows defragmenter or diskeeper
Dani you must wait for xperia. Then we could have the comparison between nokia communicator and xperia
Hey everybody,i didn't dislike Nokia6233.But it's just that i have never had a flip phone.I earned more praise when i bought 6233.I will continue to have both.6233 for heavyload uses and z56
for streaming, vdo conferencing and downloads. As i travel more 6233 will be my travelpartner as z560 lacks FM.Actually i am a choosy guy.THNX and regards to all mobile users.XAVIER
Another thing i forgot to Mention about 6233 is it Used to HANG when i got it in the first few months and it gave me alot of Memory card Problems! this is when i got really annoyed with 6233 i was about to sell it, but then i just bought W850i and was totoally Pleased with the W850i ! becuase i always wanted a Walkman Phone.....
after i got the W850i, i got the Firmware Upgraded on the 6233 to V4.91 at the time that was the latest iv still got it in the 6233 right now, anyway 6 months ago i bought the 6300 off my friend for £60 slightly used but was in excellent condition i Loved it its just its Battery Life was really Bad! i sold after 5 Months of use i sold it for £60 !!!!!! i got all my Money back wohoooo!!!!
and My W850i is now my Main Phone, and now with the £60 i got from the 6300, im looking to buy a W810i ......:P
Wish me Luck!
that was Xavier's choice, probably prefers Samsung over Nokia
Sandisk = Best brand for Memory Cards
Hmmmmm, Good Move
@xavier=i agree with u that z560 is a very good phone it got following advantages over 6233, bigeer display, hsdpa support of 1.8mbps,secondary camera, better internet 6233 has following advantages= its a bar phone instead of flap one, better stereo speakers, better battery 1100mah instead of 900mah of z560,better video recording and fm radio, and is more cheap than z560, so we have discussed earlier that why we liked 6233 because of good display, good keypads, awesome stereo speakers and awesome video recording so z560 doesnt beat him in any these departments except its screen size which is bigger but resolution is the same, so 6233 is still the best nononsense mobile phone.
I bought this phone about 3months ago.It was a great mistake.Today i bought SamsungZ560.It is great.It doesn't hang like 6233.The Z560 has a better 2MP camera(A/F)though video is bad.Quality2.3" display,touch sensitive Mp3 buttons,HSDPA(1.8mbps only but will do). Xavier
My Memory CARD SUCKS!!!! this morning i opened it, and no contents, i reinserted it, it works fine again, but after few hours again, (take note im not carrying it over, it was on my desk), my fone hangs when i tried to opened it, Grrrrr, i should bought a Sandisk 2GB!!!!
wow you too have a M@T2 ID?? uyou may be creating that long blog of yours using your phone?? wow, thats TIRING??? nyway your right about what you say, and regarding about the SE fan in this forum, DAni is a good KIDOO, he is harmless, he won't attack you,, hehehehehe, He is a nice guy with a VERY CONFUSING attitude,, nyway, regarding with the 6233 battery's life, mine just stand for 1-2 days, OMG, is the problem with my Battery, firmware 5.10 or the unit i bought?? Sigh!!!, hehehehehe
Hi all! I'm currently using the 6233, 6120 and 3110c and all i can conclude with all these three handsets is SUPERB in their respective price range!! Let me start with the cheapest yet feature rich 3110c. Well, 3110c is still the best budget phone ever and no one can beat it in that price range til date. 1.3 mp cam, stereo fm radio, great stereo express music player, micro sd expansion slot, TFT 256k colors 1.8 inches though only 128x160 pixels display resolution but it's just acceptable considering that it's a budget phone. Shouldn't expect more. And i get 4 days battery life with average to heavy use. 2000 phonebook entries, 9 MB internal memory, 32 MB flash, 16 MB RAM. It's a satisfying budget phone actually. Then next is the 6233. 6233 is definitely the best in this price. With the VGA video recorder and stereo speakers, it's clearly a cheat in this price range. You can't find any phone in the market that got VGA video recording and the loud stereo speakers in that price. 2 mp cam, 2 inches TFT 256k colors QVGA 240x320 display resolution, 3G, stereo fm radio, music player(i just wished that it got the express music player that is integrated in the 3110c). I love to use the stereo speakers of it. Everyone would be turning their heads when im in public and somebody is calling.. Next is the 6120. The sleekest and the best smartphone ever in its price range. Setting aside the camera without autofocus(anyway the flash is worth a compliment and is pleasingly powerful), it surely stands out as a smartphone. It got everything like flash player, real player, pdf reader, HSDPA, only 89 grams which is amazingly the lightest of all smartphones and it even sports one of the most sophisticated internet browser ever, stereo fm radio, S60 music player, 16.7 million colors QVGA 240x320 pixels display resolution 24 bit color depth and reflexive display surface, it is really very legible under direct sunlight and eventhough it got 16.7 Million colors, i still manage to get 1.5-3 days battery life with average use in GSM Mode, Symbian OS v.9.2 and i love to watch and even download YouTube videos in it. I'm not afraid with viruses since i got Symantec antivirus with it. Yeah! That's it! I am inspired to write all of these because i'm happy. Keep making one of a kind handsets Nokia!
P.S. Hope that this won't create argument here because i have seen there is a SE fan in here but i have to say before it's late that, it is just my opinion.
PEACE AND CHEERS TO ALL!
