dear freddie Im not sure on some of the questions that you have but what I know is
you can use radio with bluetooth headset
the camera lens doesnt have a cover though it has a good lens protector(doesnt get scratched easily)
IR and bluetooth accepts all types of data
no known other "disadvantages" except for the meantime, not being able to forward or rewind videos in the media player and only 500 contacts
to those having a problem with their video wuality, picture quality
when using the camera go to settings and set the quality to high for both video and still images
and in video set to 640x480 hehhehehehehe nice quality!!!^_^
I have a problem and I have a question with regards to my firmware version 3.70
when playing a music using the media player sometimes it doesnt detect the headset even when I connect it
and there are times that it just stops detecting it and keeps on playing thru the loudspeakers and the headset as well.....
is this a firmware problem?
and when I save images and videos in the memory card how come it doesnt save to the folders? like in the video folder or the image folder
its in the memory card but it's scattered inside even though there are folders for each file...
any help would be greatly appreciated thanks...
mga pinoy mens tulong sana po kung may naencounter kayong ganitong problem sa firmware 3.70 salamat po^_^
hey thinkin of buyin dis cell! wat wud u ppl who hve used dis cell suggest me? currently i own a nokia 6070.is this a good buy in plc of dat! hws da memory n bluetooth? do lme knw!
Currently, I use the Nokia 6100, a provenly superb cellphone - it has never given me any trouble. However, its totaly inadequate 300 phonebook memory has become a serious problem for me, and I wud also like to have the extra facilities offered in newer cellphones. I have provisionally chosen the Nokia 6233 to be my upgrade cellphone, mainly because it seems the best of the virus-safe and hang-free Java cells.
I do not claim to be highly conversant about cellphones, so cud someone knowledgeble please help me by commenting on my choice and by replying in detail to the following queries about the Nokia 6233 cell to enable me firm up my choice ~
1. Can the entire phonebook be stored onto the plug-in data card directly for access and diallng out in the same way as it is stored in the 500 inbuilt phonebook memory?
2. If that is not possible, then can the overflow from the cellphone's phonebook memory be automatically stored on the plug-in data card for transparent alphabetical
access along with the cellphone's inbuilt phonebook memory data?
3. Can the radio and the music loaded in the cellphone be heard via bluetooth and with a wireless headset?
4. Does the IR accept and transmit all types of data?
5. Is V5.10 the latest firmware, or is there a later one (V5.43??) available? How does one upgrade? It's consequences?
6. Does the camera have a built-in slide on/off camera lens cover?
7. What really major shortcomings, if any, exist in tis cellphone apart from the lack of a second camera, WiFi, and the huge disadvantage of the lack of at least a 1000 x 16 phonebook memory? (Nokia, are you listening???}
This may be my Father's Day gift if I approve, so please hurry!!!
Thank you to whoever replies.
It is also not bundled with
a data Cable which is I think
a negative point on behalf of Nokia
I have to buy the Data Cable seperately..
After I purchased it I felt very bad because
of no Data Cable in the Box...
I had just bot the 6233
its very fragile set
earlier i was using sony ericsson
but as to comparison in sound is
concerned 6233 misses the bass or thump
in its headsets and it only comes with 64 Mb
micro SD card which very less...
i love nokia 6233 very nick volume very good. i love it. i can see even movie in nokia 6233
I have a 6233 with 1GB card since 3 months and i need help to solve the following problems
1. the video clip recorded by the camera, when played does no look good. Is it due poor camera or video player
2. my mobile refuse to save anything on the memory card
Hi! regarding the problem for "Cannot record video for MMS", I found out this problem when i upgrade my firmware to 5.1 .Go to video setting and change the video resolution to less than 640*480. Then u can use and record video.
I had this phone since june 2006. It's great, but we cant fast forward anything (we can only by using the music player). But video clips, i dont think we can fast froward them.
2 things bad about this phone battery life is crap and who makes a video phone with the camera on the back??????
Awesome is the word for this cell !!! a masterpiece by nokia. a perfect example of beauty lies in simplicity. superb design very simple . the black colour look awesome. and voice in headphones beats those of walkman series by sony erricson. 2 mp camera is a decent one too. A worth buy. simply stunning for the price !!!
It's really 3G. the speed is fantastic. I like its looks. Its a simple yet powerful phone. The sound is mindblasting.
I'm a fan of your site and it seems you know alot about this phone. Could you please tell nokia to put an application suspend option like most motorola's have. I found it very usefull
i bought this nokia phone and its awesome... all features sound great except lack of wifi and its a bit heavier than other sony and moto phones... but cheap too so it covers all... i wanted help regarding my video recording... when i go onto that menu CANNOT RECORD VIDEOS FOR MMS.
