Continuation of the below part. Now I want to buy n6233 as I have limited money and this is a budget phone. What is your opinion about its looks(specially in black)or any other colour.Does this phone looks cheap or I am wrong? Is the phone styllish and looks according to its cost. And how is the sound through stereospeakers. Is the sound better and louder than n3250.Should I buy n6233.Please reply me.
Thanks again Trevor, very very much for your reply.I want a suggestion from you.I have previously used n6270,that was a good phone with stereospeakers but I sold that in order to have a symbian s60 phone and bought N72.But after that I realised that n6270 was better as N72 is very slow and the music is not so impressive, screen resolution is also not so good.To be continund......
For those who want to have a powerful file explorer likes program for browsing their files and quick access on the phone, this software will do and it called "MobyExplorer".
For those who upgraded their 6233 phone firmware to version 4.52, please use the Nokia PC Suit version 6.82 for full compatibility (Remember not 6.81 version).
One more thing I want to share with you all that microsoft excel sheet can be done on this phone. All you need to do is to get this program called "MiniExcel".
Hey...I was wondering if there is a differnet media player for this phone? I have 295 songs on a 2gb memory card...But when I'm on all music, and try to play the last 20 or so songs, it skips from say 290 song 30! Someone help please...
The phone's Image Editor allows you to do very limited things such as cropping, adding frames and text to pics. I think that's about all, not much of an image editor per se but I guess it's more for times when you want to edit a pic quickly to send via MMS.
If you need to do things like changing hues, contrast, brightness etc, you'd want to probably do it on a PC and then transfer the edited pics to the phone using a cable or bluetooth.
I'm using Nokia's CA-57 cable is USB 2.0 type, so file transfer between PC and phone is extremely fast.
Hope it helps clears your doubts.
Thanks for your reply Trevor.Thank you very very much. But what about the picture editor? Please reply me.I will be thankfull to you.
to all 6233 users...
do this phone support WAV tones?...
pls. pls. answer my question..
because i'm planning to buy this phone at the end of november...
I'm using the supplied HS-23 earpiece to listen to music on my Nokia 6233.
I rate the sound quality as very good, considering it's primarily a mobile phone.
The sound is very clear, though the bass can be stronger.
Then again, earpiece do play a huge part in such things, so you could get an audio adapter and plug in better earphones such as Seinnheiser or Sony ones for better sound reproduction.
Please help me guys. Please please please reply me.I will be thankfull to you.Does n6233 has equilizer that can be edited and how is the sound through the earpiece. Is the sound loud and clear through the earpiece? And also I want to know that does this phone has a picture editor in it and If it has than what type of "good or average".Please reply me friends.
Nokia N73 also has stereo speakers but you will observe the stereo sound only if you hear the music by keeping the phone in landscape mode because its first speaker is on the top of the phone and the second one on the bottom. It sounds better but not better than n6233 or n6270.
Actually today i found out that upgrading the firmware to version 4.52 is not a good ideas.
After upgrade to 4.52, you will or may be need to face the problem with the PC Suit software by using default mode.
But if you are using data storage mode then is okau, no problem with it.
If you guys upgrade it to 4.52, it does solve the "Sleep Mode" problem. And you have to face the new problem i mentioned.
Does anyone agree with me, after you upgrade to version 4.52 firmware.
ppl... does anybody know how to ff & rev while watching videos.. there is this option in the media>media player>FF/REV interval.... this means that wean FF/Rev while watching videos, but i donno how... are we suppose to press some button or seomthing.. how do we do it... it will sure be good thing if we are able to... plss anyone... thanks...
And very much thanks to Mathew also for his reply.I also want to give a suggestion to every guy that don't even think to replace your n6233 or n6270 with any n-series mobile otherwise you will pay for it.I replaced my n6270 with N72 and I am suffering. So go for s40 mobiles, they are fast and impressive compared to symbian phone. And n6233 and n6270 are the best.
u mentioned in ur post that turning off the sleepmode(in V3.70) solves all the problem... wat kind off problem.. in my phone, i am not able to play videos, but after i restart the phone, it does for sometime, like 3-4 days but then again the problem crops up... do u think turning off the sleep mode will solve the problem... or is there anyother solution.... pls reply.. thanks..
Thank you very much Kunal for your reply.Thank you Thank you Thank you, very very much.
I was looking for 6230i, but its view window was small, but I was quite impressed with its features, like 1.3 MP Camera, 1000x8 Phone book, and resolution, plus most IMP for me is Wallet with Personal Notes. I wait, and then 6233 arrived with all the additional features than 6230i, but except my favorite Wallet and its personal notes. I do not understand Why Nokia has removed this feaure from 6233 and 6234?
