Roger,

Do you think that the W810i have an unlimited amount of messages stored in its inbox as long as we have sufficient space in our memory card?

Someone said that the 6233 can do that, so i might pick 6233 if Ericsson doesn't have that feature. Im a big messaging fan, and i hate to delete my messages...

Again, sorry to bother you

Just thought of something - where did you get your phone from? sometimes dealers like vodafone/orange/O2 load up their own tampered with version of firmware. In this case, sometimes, it is better to have a wee look at your user manual, maybe they have moved or changed the way your menu is supposed to be working - give it a try. Sorry for not being able to be precise, but this is most unusual!

Hey Sama, no, my phone also sports firmware V3.70 - strange that.
On menu, can you find anything remotely close to settings for your media (like mp3 player, camera, radio, and so on?)

Really????
On my phone, i go to:
Menu > Media > Camera > (this brings up camera) > options > settings > Camera Sounds > on / off.

If your hasn't this, then were is it? Well, check it out, if not there, we'll have to investigate further!

Hey Sama,
To silence the camera sound, go to camera (as if to take a picture) > then to options > settings > camera sounds > off. Note that the silent function on the phone menu is totally separate from the camera sounds. So you could have a silent phone and a noisy camera at the same time. I currently have mine on off, I so hate the noise of camera shutters!

Hey Token - No, the nokia 6233 is set at this fascia - I actually prefer it, my old 6230i kept getting dust under the cover and on the display! so irritating!

Hey Dranz, I checked my brother's phone, and he has over 100 texts in his inbox, and still going. I suppose you can store as much as the internal memory allows you to? I will keep an eye and let you know when my bro's phone reaches its limit...ta ta!

How come some of you got a slinky service when purchasing this phone? I got a big rotund bloke with a harsh northern accent! Not that there's anything wrong with it, its just that this was no nice sexy gal!

cheerio you all. Roger

Hi Sama, you usually can't have a silent camera on most phones. My samsung doesn't. But it is frustrating when you're trying to get a sneaky shot of that girl with the big cleavage on the train isn't it?

I just got this phone at the centrepoint Fone Zone and i was so happy with the service that i invited that straping young slaesman back to my place for a coffee, but needless to say i gave him a great deal to and he left there with alot more then he had expected too.

im gonna recomend this phone to all my friends on the bondi cheerleading team as well as that cute guy from centrepoint

I love this phone! and not to mention the Fone Zone sales consultant who recommended it to me. What a looker. He even talked me into ESP. Pretty happy with the phone- but not as much as the Fone Zone bondi juncion service. Unlike Centrepoint

The 6233 can save as many messages as the phone memory allows (more free space you have the more messages you can keep). I currenly have 300+ messages in my inbox
