I bought the 6260 a month ago and I am very satisfied with its so far. The design is pure class. It has no curves or ridiculous ornaments on it. Just pure functionality.
The radio is great and very useful; so is the e-mail-function. 6260 has almost every technical finess available on the mobilephonemarket. The possibility to turn the screen 180 degrees is a funny and impressing detail, but has only little practical value.
The only disturbing detail is the that the screenpart of the phone might seem a bit loose when it is in 90 degrees angle. Also, if you're looking for a camera, then go and get a digital camera. I think that the VGA-cam is only for capturing moments. And that's pretty much what I think of the megapixel-cameraphones too. A good camera for accurate pictures should have at least 3-4 Megapixels. If you buy a mobilephone with a megapixelacamera, you'll pay about 100 e extra just for the cam. The picturequality isn't still comparable with a digicam.
BTW. "Bounce" can be a very fascinating game when you dont feel like doing anything
Resolution details are on the main phone info page. Can't you read?
Please specify the camera pixel, video capture details (like max time of video, & video resolution) & picture resoultion of digital photos. This would help us to decide on a model.

e398's mp3 quality is the best that you can get in a phone available now.And both are VGA cameras,if you want to take real pictures get a real digital camera.
sup man i'm currently using e398 do u think its wise to change to 6260? considering the mp3 quality and camera abilities?
i just bought it for USD360. Silver. The last and only one in stock. the rest is black color. The saleman try to convince me to get the black one but to no avail.
The best phone in its price. Much better than 6600 and much faster.Yes the sound when playing mp3 is ok only but this phone is good. It has everything loaded into it and the best thing is its a Nokia ease of use . I guess comparing it with other smartphones is possible but for its price its the best.Try getting the Black Coffee color its the best of the lot.

To Allan: Your Sound Settings should be adjusted. Your phone saves these setting & even after restarting it keeps settings. If your phone is not saving settings, Please Contact Nokia Care. If your MP3 Sound Quality is Loud and Distorted, It means that the encoding that your MP3 File is using is of very low Quality. Please check the Encoding Quality of MP3 File. If it is greater than or equal to 96KBps than it should be alright otherwise there is something to check further... Please let me know...
2-> That click sound is obvious because after 5 Seconds (As I discovered) phone buffers the sound and you get that "click" Sound Due to Lack of Hardware Resources. You should not get that sound when you are playing .mid, .amr or .aac files because file size is too small.
Even you can face this issue with video files.
To Titi: Night Mode Works Perfectly Fine. Sales Package doesn't include MMC Adaptor.
To Draconia: I don't have nothing for you this time. Didn't find any software... Sorry :-(
Hi, does anyone know where I may download (free or with purchase) the software to create and edit Word documents on my 6260?
I only have a couple of concerns with this phone: 1st is that my loud speaker volume cannot be adjusted so the MP3 play back is always loud and a bit distorted, is my phone faulty or is this in the design? 2nd when I transfer music tracks the playback often has clicks in the background, is this again part of the design or is the Nokia PC suite insufficent to use to record music?
I would really appreciate an answer if anyone knows. Thanks
