This was a great phone i ever had in my life..the way i lost it was so sad and it took me too long to let it go.
i must say i bought the phone from a friend of mine as second-hand but i had never have any bad experience with it and i had been looking for it but still finding it difficult to get it from the stores.. i would appreciate to have that phone as my back up phone to my Nokia E75 that i own.

when i recieve stuff like music and picture through bluetooth. it saves it on the phone memory. but i want it to save on the memory card. how do i do that.

It was my most xpensive phone that i ever bought 3years back and i am stil using it ,i knw want to try the 5800 xpress music bt the price is too high bt its worth it .thankyou

I have owned this phone for 2 years now. Can say that it crashes too often, for example when listening music the phone boots itself... also if you fully recharge the battery and then talk to someone, u can talk max 2min, and then phone shuts down... tried to change battery but it doesnt help. Had the newest firmware too. I've used the phone two times in repair. 5/10

Great phne but recently when i try camera it say operation failed and camera goes on standby why can it be repaired? Why does it sometime have a white screen and reboot itself.?

Excellent phone, had it for roughly three years now and it is a good, robust phone with excellent memory, all I have to say is its a pity they have discontinued this phone!!

It's my favourite mobile.It works really good.I gifted it to my husband before 3 years.still he is using it.

the front camera doesn't work. poor camera quality and the flash makes it all worse. the sliding mechanism is sometimes too tight. i have it replaced two times because the 'flex' was cut. it's also too big. but the features are great. i replaced it with N7610 supernova within a year.

I've had this phone for many years and would have to say that it has been one of the best and most reliable phone i've ever owned. BRILLIANT WORK HORSE. Not the best with range as it doesn't have all the latest wireless technology but still a great 3G phone.

This was my 5th phone. I bought it in June 2006. Earlier I had used Nokia 2110, Samsung R220, Nokia 2600 & 6610i.
This phone was great at first look as slider design was a fad at that time. I was using it till recently, until it was stolen, unfortunately, from my home along with old 6610i.
It was a great S40 phone with good camera capabilities. A 3G phone when few people knew about that technology. The only drawback it had was with memory. It had just 4MB of internal memory. And as one of my friend had truly posted here earlier, any large size application would hang it. I had a 512MB card installed out of which I used just about 300 MB. Still it used to take lot of time to explore it. The mechanical design for slide was good. Though it had developed a little play lately, it was still working good. I installed a truck load of jar applications from gallery.mobile9.com and getjar.com. It was then that problem of slowness started. Eventually I had to delete most of them.

hey!thats the problem that front camera is not active, bt its all other featers are good. am using it from 4 years. and it really performing good

Who know about the version of 6280??
i think its series 40. . .but im not sure
you know why i ask about it??
bec its very important for downloading
application u need it so u can find it esily
but my problem is imnot sure about the version of
6280. . . bec i have to find file manager for this phone
and ,my problem is that verion. . .i just want to know

i had it 2 years ago, ya..it's kinda cool..but since it is slide up phone.. it came to the point when it looses its side when u want to slide it, and sometimes, its too tight to slide...:( and u won't be able to use the front camera for picture taking purposes, it's function is only used for 3G video calling.
