one of the best features for this handset is the fact its using EDGE rather than UTMS also the sound quality is immense for the software its running off

well..this phone should be a boom in the market..but only thing dat shud b gud is d sound quality..if the sound quality is better or same as p910 then nokia 6280 will beat d sony w800 and w900 market..hope 2 buy it after i hear d sound quality..other wise nokia shudnt hav ne problem..

yes in romania the phone hasnt arrived yet..and nokia romania have no idea abt this phone..instead they are eagerly talking abt n90...
the price in romania will be around 550-600 Euro(from a local dealer-Iasi)...
worth waiting or not??

i have a question....since 3G uses different upgraded sim card, can i use the normal sim card in this phone...of course just as a usual phone and not as a 3G phone..is it possible?

hi cristina.im also from romania but ill write in english so everyone will understand what im teling you.about the video resolution,its qcif,like most of the phones.its the regular .3gp format, really poor quality, but its a phone after all, not a video camera.n90 has a cif resolution, witch is much better than the qcif.ive seen a video taken with the n90 and, for a fone ,its quite good.the photo resolution, 1600X1200,wich is provided by the 2 mp camera, its pretty good, but the photos are all in poor quality.the only good camera phones are the n90 and se k750.but if you want great pictures, than dont wase your money on a phone, buy a camera.at least in 2-3 years from now on, i dont think that there will be a phone that could make pictures at the same quality with a photo camera.this phone laks autofocus,flash,a good imaging processor, and professional lens,so i think the photos will be in poor quality.its a good phone, none of the less,too bad it doesnt have symbian.its a series 40 device.

i want to buy this phone but in romania hasn`t appeared yet.i think it is a good phone but still i have some questions about it.here in romania the price is at about 550euro and i saw that on this forum the price is 450euro.is the resolution good and i talk about the pictures and video?wainting for your reply...

spoke to a guy at vodafone who rekoned it won't be out till start of new year as the n series has not been released properly yet!!!!!!!!!! but reckon he was blaggin me trying to get an upgrade out of me!

It says Li-ion battery here, but that must be wrong... On nokia page the BP-6M is a Li-Polymer... What is the difference anyway?

I noticed someone here asking about the card size. I was wondering the same thing and contacted Nokia Finland about the mini SD card size. They said 2GB to be the max limit.

Does anyone know the price for 6280???? I've heard all kinds of rumours but nothing fully believable yet. About 400 euros was the estimate in June 05 when this phone was first announced to the public. Anything more precise anywhere yet????
