im concern about this statement.. what do you mean? respond to the customer or in terms of technology development. If you are talking about technology development, this is just not right. Samsung is the best and the fastest, followed by LG,SE and others.
Nokia used to be the last one, but often when they appear, they already added some other features too to make it stand out.

SoulJah read between my lines " far best phone not a pda " unless u want a pda then obviously this aint the best but if u consider a phone this is cool. i have been a nokia user all my life but this 1 is better, nokia needs to beat it now, and if it does i will be first one again to try it. Ur comments showed ur a diehard nokia kid.

If compare to SE K750i or W800i, Nokia 6280 is still on a position to compete. Both having the 2 Mega pixel camera. SE is better in terms of the auto focus function. Nokia is better as the user-interface is more user freindly and there are a lot of trick functions. Last comment will be the respond time comparing Nokia-SE-Motorola, Nokia is the fastest. This is something that SE and Moto need to improve. BUT Nokia design is not as good as last time. SE design is better now. Beats Nokia. Hopefully Nokia can win back when they launch the N91 and this 6280! I am looking forward to the launch of these 2 models!

i think the 6280 looks way better than the 6270, and it's smaller
but anyone seen pics made with the new Nokia 2 megapixel camera that are in the 6270 and 6280? Is it similar to the SE K750i , better or worse?

i believe se w800i is better than this far best camera in coming 8 months or so, it has an awesome mp3 playern no1 can deny sony is best in this category. big deal about 3g, u cant use it if the person u talkin to doesnt has 3g, so its crap.

no - it's a new and better (upgraded) version of the software that's in the 6230(i). I don't think the Stereo sound makes such a big difference - i'm buying this phone because of it's design, weight and size - and then IT'S A NOKIA - the software IS WORKING!

does 6280 has 3d souround sound like its twin,6270?i think,6270 is better than 6280 for its sound.. And both of them don't use symbian OS...the OS is the same like nokia 6230i

6280 is alot better than the n70 and alot smaller n looks better the only thing about the n70 is that it has 20x zoom but so wut ur gona use the features or only the camara n plus it not gona be clear n the nokia 6280 has the exact same size as the sony s700 n the same butun for the menue so the nokia 6280 is simelar than sony s700 but 6280 is alot better iam getting a 6280 this october iam the 3rd in list to get it in q8 so wen i do ill tell ya alot more about it.

Philip if your right about the 1 hour only recording, thats another thing Nokia to improve and WI FI would be good! If Nokai make a phone with all my improvments I am s gonna buy it as it will be the best phone ever with everything!

Attention all cingular costumers. I just called cingular and ask them do they have 3g network towers up and running. They said they have 3g network towers running in MOST places in the states. Lucky me I'm in one of those places. So I would go all the way in buying this phone. Since they have the towers I can use this phone to its full potential. :)

No it's not the whole country that is covered with these 3G towers, but every larger city, abouot +5000 citizens. The MAIN phonecompany, TDC, has a new plan, it's planned that the whole country is covered before marts 2006... But anyway I have NO use for the 3G - I still use the normal GSM network.
yes - video is limited to ONE HOUR, but pictures can still me saved on the memory card - as far as i know... Who needs more than 1 hour of video? I dont ;)

hey you got 3g network towers in denmark? What service do u have? Don't get me wrong. I love the nokia 6280 but there is one thing I dont like. The video recording is limited to only one hour while the nokia 6270 is limited up to the memory. So if u get like a 512mb memory stick you can take alot of pics and lots of video.

This phone is better than 6270 as it has a camera ont he front looks nicer and all the other features which are obvious if you look at the specs! Letdowns though to this phone and the other of this series is that Symbian series 40! bit silly from nokia also this pohne would be nice if it had the stereo speaker and had red eye reduction like the n90 on the camera and maybe carls zeieses lenses but dont makle that much difference!

Well here in Denmark, UMTS is almost available all over the country. THe GSM850 wont work in Denmark so it doesn't matter to me.

ABout the size of the two phones:
6270:
104 x 50 x 23 mm, 104 cc
Weight 125 g

6280:
99.9 x 46 x 21 mm, 91 cc
Weight 115 g

SO Phillip- WHAT ARE U TALKING ABOUT?? I think it's pretty clear that the 6280 is SMALLER than 6270??!!

And by the way - what good is stereo speakers? I don't think it makes such a big difference. Another thing is that I think the design and finish of the 6280 is way more proffesional and smoother than the design of the 6270...
