it captures strong 3G signals here in the Philippines, my browsing experience is fast especially to free WAP sites and chat sites... the downfall is the 6MB built in memory,,, applications being saved in the mem card can't be trusted... all in all, its a good uncomplicated phone to own .

I have been using this phone since 2 and half years ago.however it dropped many many many times it still working!! only both covers are broken but it still working . and slide is working good. any way dont buy it now many best nokia phone better than 6288. my advice try E63 .it in same price group but it even better

I have had this phone for 3 years, and have never had a problem with it. It doesn't have wifi, GPS or symbian, but it's easy to use and has a very sturdy build.

i am using this phone for the last 1 yr...i have kept my phone locked by a security code....now the problem is that for the last one day i am unable to open it...the fone doesnt show up any thing...i guess its locked ....how to open mobile.....??? CAN ANYONE HELP ME...??

hi everyone i had this phone on a contract for 18mth and its the worst fone i have ever had.it caused me so much problem the light kept cuttin off then i had no lights. its very sad the problems i had with it plesae dont buy it

hi everyone i have had this fone on contract for 18mths and luckly for insurance it save me.tis the worst fone in mankind history it give me so much problems i tought i would go mad. the light stop workin and imagin trying to make a call without lights on yr fone or trying to read a text message:(i will not encourage anyone to buy this fone its rubbish,i will not even have it for free....

i had this phone over 2 years and its very good, i droped him many times stil works fine, acceptable camera but is a phone that u wont have any problems with him, its a good deal !

this phone kinda sucks..i used to use this phone..bought it in may 2007..quite expensive..MYR900++..but very useless..used for 4 months then something went wrong with the camera..got it repaired and paid anothe MYR130 because the centre said the camera wasn't under warranty..then 3 months after that the slider got a problem..the LCD also went blank..the front camera also damaged.so I traded it in and got MYR200 only!
It cost me MYR900++..then I added MYR130 to fix the camera..used it for only 7 months!
it sucks big time..

A few days later they called and said it was not repairable because it was water damaged. I was surprised because it never had so much as a bit of spit on it let alone any rain on it. I was suspicious but could not do anything about it as the care center replied that they would repair it if it was worth it. I think now hearing your comment Nokia are using this as a standard excuse for not having to repair phones under warranty. B...ds

I'm a fire fighter and use my phone a lot on the fire ground. Had this phone since November '07. It's been dropped, kicked, fallen and had pieces go in all directions. The plastic cover over the actual screen is cracked big time!
The Camera is nothing wonderful but it has been very useful.
This phone still works as good it always has.

Initially this phone worked well - a good allround phone.
BUT... after just over a year of use, the display screen went black so I took the phone to Nokia Care, as it was still under warranty. However now I need a new phone, since there was apparently some water damage. I looked after this phone quite well - I never dropped it in water and I tried to protect it from the rain - so I put this down to poor phone design. So frustrating!
