OH! I does support mp3 and mp4! i have a lot of them. With a 512 Mbyte memory card you can store plenty of tracks, and the memory card can be expanded further if desired.

Hi, nokia users! Can someone please tell me if I can create playlists directly on the phone, meaning not through PC Suite? and if I can store mp3s on different folders on the microSD and add them to the playlist? I have a 6230 and I am not so pleased with its music management features. I am seriously thinking about buying the 6288 and I wouldn't hesitate doing so if the concerns i've mentioned are not true. Thanks in advance...

This phone is great! one member of my family has n70 and the screen is much better than his. They 2 phone have 2mp,but we can both say that 6288 camera captures better. sounds is just ok. Keypad is much better. Pictures are better and cab be viewed and use as wallpaper in full screen! Can receive and read message without cancelling a call. It looks more classy and it's not hanging unlik in 6280. Almost the same feature but everything is improved. There's so much to say about this phone.Worth buying!

Is it worth buying 6288 since there is a lot of criticism on 6280? Has Nokia significantly improved 6288, elminating the widely discussed in the forum drawbacks? Thanks.

Is there going to be even a short review of this phone? I'd like to know whether Nokia has improved the OS in this phone compared to the 6280 cuz people used to say the 6280 had some major reliability problems. Also the camera in the 6280 isn't as good as a 2 MP camera should be because of the over-sharpening that makes the pics grainy. I'm seriously thinking of buying this phone but first I need to read some supporting words to help me make up my mind.

Vladimir: The sound from the Media Player is stopped when you start a game. If you select no sound from the game settings then there is silence :). So, no mp3s when gaming.
