Is there anyway you can make it so the flash stays on like a flash light. I wish Nokia would put this into more of it's products.
no the screen doesnt touch the keypad, ive had my 6290 for bout 3 months now, and its been great. the keys are quite flat and smooth.. and doesnt touch the screen.
....the 6290 is a great phone! The keypad has a good response and Symbian OS is fast and efficient...Only one negative thing: I dont like the plastic the phone is made of, it's cheap and too slippery....
Does the keypad touch the screen when closed? I have a 6101 and the screen is permanently marked from hitting the plastic between the keys. It took a few weeks/months for it to be noticeable, so was wondering if anyone has used the 6290 long enough to see if it happens with it.
yes you can. the versions for symbian 9.1 might work or you should try the latest versions
Pls, can someone tell me if it is possible 2 install route 66 or tom tom navigator on this phone. I have nokia n73 and the programes work.
my friends say that the phone is for girls not man?what do you think about it?
this model IS exclusive to europe ! same es n75 is exclusive to USA
I am beginning to think that some phones are exclusive to Europe? When will they release this phone and 6267 to USA? Or atleast make it available to purchase direct from manufacturer unlocked? I don't understand.
the phone looks & sounds great but could anyone tell me what the font size is, is it easy to read, & can you change the font size bigger for better visibility
Just got one from germany. Nokia didn't release this great phone in the benelux.
This phone is just great.
Feels good, great key pad, superb sound quality. Very fast navigation. Even with nokia maps in offline mode.
It is so easy to use. Very usefull features only Nokia phones have.
I don't like the way it searches names in the addressbook. (First AND Last Name). It looks usefull but it isn't!!!
Don't buy from e-buy-global.com !
It's strange that they got mobile phones 70% cheaper, e.g. 8600 Luna - $150. It's that odd, that it doesn't even cover production expenses...
So, my advice: don't even write to them. They aren't really from Italy! Their host is somewhere in Israel! It might aswell be some kid playing around behind his PC, and getting his money off our backs.
When I asked for their company's registration number, business rate, or something like that, the director replied to me they haven't got it for anybody. 'Cause that's something that has to be made public, so anyone may verify it.
Thanks! Bye! P.S.: Please tell others, on other forums, too!
