I think you have not read my comment properly. Please go back and read in between lines. I have clearly said that Nokias have launched some of their models hasitly but I have also said that I am not referring to 6300.
I dont understand why are we debating on 6300s performance. If its staying cold while talking that's your opinion and my opinion is that it does become hot while talking and I have not only self experienced but also heard from many users the same experience. You cannot force me to change my views on 6300 and viseversa.
GSMarena officials and CNET officials will never pass any comment on this issue and I have seen them not commenting on other makes and models of similar problem for example Samsung X820 on which if you pour egg it becomes omlett. That means there is no legitimacy in their reviews or probably mobile manufacturers might have paid them not write any such comment which in return may effect their mobile sales.
So please lets put a stop to avoid further conflict as there is no point to discuss on this issue. You already have your opinion and I have my opinion on 6300. If others continue to comment on this issue I am just not bothered.

Since the 6300 was hastily launched and there is a heating problem, why doesn't mine have any of those symptoms ?
Why is it that the GSMArena official reviewer didn't experience any of those symptoms ?
Why is it that the CNET official reviewer didn't experience any of those symptoms and gave it a 8.5 out of 10 ?
Why is it that the official reviewers for so many other companies didn't experience any of those symptoms ?
Quite a few reviewing companies gave it 5 out of 5 stars...NONE of the symptoms you mentioned earlier would have enabled it to achieve so many high ratings from so many reviewers.
Bottom line is my 6300 DOESN'T give me any form of problems whatsoever. So hearing you say that Nokia released the 'i' version to fix the problems in the original is crap.
Nokia wanted to extend the 6300i portfolio because of it's extremely high sales between it's release and now. You should read news sources instead of criticizing.
My 6300 is PERFECT including BATTERY performance and that's all that matters to me.

6300 is a very good phone...you can do almost everything with it..but i think, it is somewhat sensitive...but all in all, it is still a very nice phone

First of all thanks to nokia,that they have launched 6300;which is very ultimate phone the phone is very stylish n light weight one thing which i don't like is sound in the earpiece it should be bit louder guys; dont get upset trust me the phone is good.johan

I much prefer 5310 over 6300. 6300 is dated now,but still has it's fans. I have moved from 6300 due to bad headache's caused by heat issue of 6300. I ended up at hospital having test's and was told to cut down use (60 minute's) a day, or change phone, i changed. 6300 is'nt brilliant and the heat issue is a health issue. My advice (move to a newer better phone,if you can.) this phone is'nt all it's cracked up to be an in my experience affected my health.

It's good to see U mannage some information about this phone and celphones in very general terms...I coincidentally upgraded my previous 6230 (which kicked many brand asses out there in its time)for a 6300...I really love both phones...
So what do you think 'bout 6220 classic??? comming soon??? nice upgrade for 6300???

I am a nokia fan...I confess...Up to this point i am sure you own a 6300...
So do I...and I accept its not perfect but its great...I also bought this Sony MDR-EX81 Earphones, they are noise cancealling with tiny earbuds...and this phone just rocks with them...I also have im my bedroom this LG 21" FU1RK Tv...which has a built-in FM transmitter so I just use my 6300 radio receptor and I can go round my room or just lay in my bed and I have stereo sound for my favorite TV programs...I just love it!!!
But those are just thinghs u can do with many other phones and from othr brands...however I say 6300 is good...

Somebody seems to be getting annoyed when I talk about 6300's negative aspect. Everyone has right to their own opinions in this forum and I have been repetedly telling this. I am not addressing to anyone when I counter comment and that's being gentlemen. I only address when I appreciate someone's point of view specially OJ.

5310 is newer so it would have 2,000 capacity Phonebook, but still it cant beat SE's Capacity of 7,000 !!! yes 7,000:P
My 6300 Never heats up or Doesnt Have Bad Battery Life either.
