why is my 6300 very low sound despite having it in max volume? hardly hear it if im outside or in a ride......any help with this?
reason of marketing variety of models with different shapes, sizes and features are to suite each ones likings. nothing is less and nothing is more as beauty lies in the beholders eyes. otherwise it would have been boring to have only one model for everyone.
Nokia, SE, Moto, Samsung, LG, Alcatel,
*%@(^$# etc, etc are all beautiful subject to each ones choice.
I Like 6300
you like the Prism's
each to our own choice!
7500 Prism isnt as good as 6300
have you seen how 7500 Prism looks?
it makes me Sick
so please dont compare that weird looking phone to the 6300
and theres to many Fakers in this forum.
It is a free world what phone people pick is up to them everyone is different and unique if you pick 6300 an love it great if you pick it an dont love it thats great you cant force your opinions on others if they leave rewiews an dont like battery or phone thats up to them we shouldnt allow bully tactics an criticism of others its personal choice an thats it
Everyones at it now i am from jamaica oficial and prism looks nice and the battery lasts longer the screens better to the 6300 isnt as crisp an batterys bad
Trust me on this.. this "was" an excellent forum.. until people started to stop people from giving honest comparisons and opinions.
Thanks mate..remembered me.. Stopped psoting in the forum.. aint worth it.. when u have people who dont understand wat a forum stands for.
Anyways i do come to the forum...
I moved on to T650i.. for me my 6300 gives me crappy battery life. Thats the end of it....
someone seems to be marketing 6300 desperately. are they getting commission from nokia????????????????
nobody is disputing 6300s quality. all nokia phones are good and reliable and nothing is so great about 6300 as its just a gadget going to be outdated soon. so why all this noice about it. many of them seems to be obsessed with it. how lucky 6300.
All you Fakers in this forum, all the stuff you say about 6300 ISNT TRUE
Battery Life of 6300 is HIGH
It has a LOUD LOUD Loudspeaker
Nokia would not make a phone of low standards thats just not Possible
NO company in this world would sell a Authentic Phone to somebody of Bad Quality
Just Like in the Real World. not this GSMarena Fanboy blah blah blah blah World
Judging a Phone wrongly gets you nowere in Life.
so please just buy a 6300 and Face the Truth of Reality.
6300 is a EXCELLENT Phone for everyone
all nokia models are good and reliable right from the beginning models. globally majority of people traditionally choose nokias more than any other makes which shows people out their are not dumb in making their right choices, but some models despite their strength they also have weaknesses which i experienced in 6300 not only me but my friends and colleagues too.
6300 is good in every aspect except battery life. same is the case with other high end nokia models including my 7500 prism the battery lasts only 2 days. the only difference between 6300 and 7500 is that 7500 doesnt get hot while talking and sound from the speaker sounds very natural. if someone is mad after 6300, i call it blind love and only after marriage the eyes will open.
See people it is already 10:00 A.M. here and my battery is still going strong. I have last charged it on Wednesday morning and good news is that, up to now it is still FULL. I really love this phone and no regrets of buying it. But i have just cried out loud when i realized that i missed the nice SE K810i. But the let down on the K810i for me it's the Xenon Flash and this kind of camera flash gives me a temporary blindness and i find it painful for my eyes.
You people and my clones are LAME. More than likely, you are SE fans coming here and promote SE phones. Though I agree that SE Walkmans ARE GREAT too like the Walkman flagship W960 but NO mobile phone company can ever beat Nokia as always. As of now, still planning for a S60 Nokia this time as a replacement for my 6300 because my 6300 give me problems like the restarting when in a call and I will only replace it yet with another Nokia as Nokia is the ONLY way to go.
I own a 6300. I never regretted buying it.
It's Euro made. It has lived up to the hype of all the OFFICIAL reviews I read from GSMArena, CNET (still can't believe CNET gave it a high 8.5 as they are the HARDEST reviewing site and gives many high end phones 7 - 7.6).
Even an official reviewing company called mobile-phones-uk.org.uk said it's their favourite Nokia in years!!! and this company always seemed to be in favour of other brands.
When you go to the homepage of mobile-phones-uk.org.uk, right away you see the popular phones for each month. The 6300 has been on that homepage since it's review on that site. The only difference is that is no longer 5 stars, dropped to 4 now which is expected after a year long release. That site gave the 6300 5 stars for many many months.
The release of the 6300 has rocked the world just as the 6230 did when it was first released.
The 6300 is an EXCELLENT phone and NOTHING more needs to be said. End of story.
My girl CHESKA also reached the 6 day mark, more than once too.
We both have no reason to lie so who doesn't want to accept it, tough luck.
This is the EXACT words Cheska said:
"Hey Jamaican! 6 days battery life is not a headline for me anymore. Well, i just want you to know that i also have reached the 6 days battery life with my 6300 three times already. I'm just afraid to tell and share it because i know that people here will ignore it for all they know and believe is that the 6300's battery life is just poor and disappointing. That might turn out to be true but they should also bear in mind that using the "multimedia" capabilities of the 6300 would drain battery for sure. Of course, i guess almost every phone when you use its FULL (i mean all) multimedia functions would drain out a lot of battery for sure. I don't care if everyone will argue but i rather dare to say that the 6300 battery (based on my experience) is just average to excellent considering that it supports up to 16.7 million colors and considering that you use it primarily as a "PHONE"(i mean primarily for calls and texts). In fact, i have seen even worse performance from a 16 million colored handset like the N95-1 for example. So using it primarily as a phone, i guess the 6300 is not that bad. No offense to others as i'm just stating my experience and for what i think about 6300."

6300s battery su*ks.its way below average(i used 6300 4 2mths).those who r claiming dat deir battery lyf is gud enuf dey must b usin prototype battery or fon.so dun expect dat ur battery will b as gud as dem.
OJ's battery must be a miracle one must be with space age materials. i am in the middle east and i have checked with many 6300 users, they all said maximum 2 days the battery lasts and it gets hot while talking despite excellent network signal strength. even my 7500 prism made in finland has to be charged every 2 day.
6300 isnt to great a phone battery life is very bad wish i hadnt got mine
Whoever is contemplating on getting the 6300 go ahead and get it. It's a very good phone and a worthy replacement to the legendary 6230. Battery life is good as I got 6 days out of it and during those 6 days I used it for calls every day.
The 6300 is an excellent phone which is the main reason why it's one of the best selling phones of 2007 and still going strong.
