I am mobile master i use every company since last 12 years , i used moto, se, samsung, lg, bird, imate and nokia.mobile is my hobby and i know how to play with it, i puchased this nokia 6300 2 days ago and i am playing with it, the camera is nice, you can take nice photos and videos. I dont care about flash light because i dont need, the MP3 player is average but it is nice. The ringtones sound is so high and so loud n beautifull, bluetooth work fast and perfectly, voice recording is nice and you also can record upcoming calls, can down themes wallpapers, and slot card is extra advantage. everything is nice. i used 3310 in my time and that was a mobile in which everyone knows, then 6600 still famous and now 6300 will beat all walkmans, and samsung mobiles . it is the first mobile which i like more than my N70 . I will sure after 3 months this mobile will be in every hand. because i am mobile cheetah..
hope this review will help others those are confusing to buy this. go get this one.i will give this 10 stars. :)

Its a very good phone BUT the batteri is TERRIBLE...It last only for 1 day MAX 1.5 days...so, i sold it.
If u gonna buy this phone u will need to charge it every day. And trust me after only
1 our of talktime the batteri needs to charge,,and in the end u will get pissed of like i did and i sold it (didnt got any other alternativ).
Think of a car that after every hour it would need more petrol!
Would you have stayed with the car or sell it?

I dont get all the fuss about the country in which the phones are made. We all know that most of things are made in China, and it's really up to the companies (Nokia here...) to worry about its own Quality Control. I hope every1 understand that!!!

Please if someone can answer my question. I just got 6300 and was previously using 6680. Can I transfer the contacts I saved in the memory card of 6680 into this one (may be through the USB cable)?

You know many times I hear people complain about Nokia phone batteries and the short talk time.
When I use these same phones I experience NO problems whatsoever. I still believe Nokia's phones talk time and standby time last longer than any other manufacturer's.
Just the other day I was able to get 4hr. 4min. talk time out of my almost 3 year old Nokia 6230.
It's all about how you charge your battery.
As always, obey the rule about charging a new battery 3 times overnight. Let it discharge fully before each overnight charge. After that '3-times-overnight-cycle' your battery should give you extreme performance.
Personally, I try to let my battery run out completely before plugging in the charger. I also leave it off when charging (unless I have an emergency type of thing dealing with and need to have my phone on). Finally, once it's finished charging in the OFF mode, I turn it on with the charger plugged in. Doing that makes it start another charging cycle which normally takes 5-10 minutes to finish.
Maybe if you people follow my guidelines you won't have anything to complain about. Peace.

To KRIZZY & ASHWIN:
I have said many many times, the European phones are the best. For example, when I compare my Nokia 6230 (made in Hungary) to the US version or Chinese version there's a huge difference in screen clarity. The US/Chinese screen is too pale, lacks colour and is too bright when compared to the Hungarian 6230 that I have. That is why I always insist on the European made phones. Anything less is uncivilised.
