Hi....can anyone tell me if it is possible to load third party software into the Nokia6300...I have a Nokia6600 and am able to load any third party software making it easier for me to use the phone....This information is going to help me choose this phone so please help...also will there b a music edition of the Nokia6300???Please help!!!!

at last got my 6300 for 920 aed in dubai i call it sexy bec its so slim and the screen so clear.nice phone better than any slim phone its functions is better than 8800 and screen better than n73.....

round my way, only chavs use Scirocco. 6300 is more understated and classy (and costs a fraction of the price of the Scirocco).

Thanks Nokia its a great, slim body have nice sound, cam., large display screen waitless have great players with some other sounds like Jazz, Rock many others, and you can install other softwares on it like smart movi plyaer and many more.

JM: If ur choosing between the sirocco and the 6300, obviously i'd go for the sirocco. If money is not an issue for you get the sirocco. Its so elegant and only a few can own it. Its not a fone its a work of art. But if your on a budget get the 6300 since it costs about one fourth of the sirocco price. You get value for your money with the 6300. Although battery life of this fone is quite low.

my colleague just brough this phone one week ago. according to her battery life is confirmed shorter than any other nokia phone. she not a heavy user, but battery life last for less a day (24hours)By turning off the screen saver or change to still image can save battery life.

Anthony, you need to go to Settings > Profiles > Silent > Personalize > Incoming Call Alert - change this to Off. You can configure other settings too here.
