here i go again with my problem..do u think a 3MP camera on the samsung D900 is better than the 6300's 2MP camera?-i could have either phone at the same price ( the battery on 6300 is the same as my former's 6100. and i had no problem with it)

Who cares about 3G? It draines the battery, adds 30g to the weight and is unreliable in parts of the country AND indoors, as 3G-signals has problems penetrating glass and walls.
Not having 3G-chip on the phone is actually a huge benefit, I'd go for 6300.

6233 is still better then 6300 in all aspects for these reasons:
VGA video(15fps)
(2)stereo speakers 3D sound
better 2mp camera
3G telephony(can work with 3G Sims)
and 6288 isnt soo good only difference between that and 6233 is flash on the camera and front video calls camera
so 6233 is the best out of 6288.6300.

aadul, 6300 is a good phone... personally, i love it to bits. the display is brilliant, the menu is blazingly fast and no freezes at all. the music player has a brilliant library function that you're able to segregate songs by artist, genre, album and even composer!

Hi peoples! I have one NOKIA 6131, and itīs same configurations with this 6300, but istīs a flip type. But, this 6131 has a badīs troubles: external case is a type rubber that crash, the bluetooth dontītalk with the motorolas celullar and the battery is very poor. I want chabge with this 6300, btu in Brazil donīt have this phone, and I want to know about this phone, users caracteristics and opinions... the 6300 is more best with this 6131? Thanks!

i never said it was a 60 series phone hello i said your on about the 60 series phone being better than 40 series phone lol ,so read carefully if you dont like 40 series phone what are you doing in here this is 6300 forum so crawl back to the other forum as we who have 6300 phone dont care what you say about it obviousley you dont seem to have one all these users in here cant be wrong who like it , like i said i would bet you Ģ20.000 pounds this phone will be best selling handsett i have the money to bet so take up my offer please if i win which i will i will give yours to a charity of your choice i cant be fairer than that , lovely phone and well built and screen well we all know how good that is menues so fast cant fault it , a dealer posted the second shipments are ok but you ignored him so get another one then come back in this forum i think you will be converted and relax you seem to be getting all worked up .

jus went to buy the fone hav been using the k790i for 2 months now i love that fone but my sis is takin it and im buyin the 6300 since its way cheaper n i dont need a gr8 cam...anyways i paid the money n evrything but then i played a ringtone or whtevr jus to chek the speaker and OMG IT MADE A CRACKLING wierd noise...the seller said it was defected and took it back said come back 2mr n buy a new one.....but it has got me wondering....i hate nokias btw have been using SE since4 god knmows how long now
any suggestions as to which fone i shld buy ASIDE from this 1 and the 6233.
is the 6288 any good :\

Hello to all, I have a nokia6300 and think it's a great phone.
Firstly the battery life is GOOD for everyday use, the menu is so quick and easy to use. It has amazing design and looks which is both subtle and beautiful. I have loads of mp3's on there and the radio is great on the way to work. The display is soo good, pity the camera is only ok, but cameras on phones will never compare to digital cameras! The phone sync's with my PC perfectly and call quality is good. So if you want a phone to be just a phone, this is the one to get period!
However I would like more applications on for series40, so if anyone or NOKIA is reading, please shows links to good software for it.
Finally to all the moaners on this forum, Nokia has a portfolio of products to meet everyones needs, if u want high specifications or a longer battery life or series60 choose a different Nokia! There are plenty to choose from!!!

* ONLY for 6300 users! thx* I've always been a nokia fan.. and want to change my phone for a nicer thinner one..finally nokia came with 6300, but i'm not the one saying the price for it is low, since money dont grow on trees around me! I would like to be sure i made a good choice, but the opinions here really dont help! they r very but VERY different..So...should i stick with nokia and buy the 6300 or go for a D900 from samsung? Many thxs in advance!

hey guts once aagain i really dont care about what people say , if u r sensible dont get a 6300 , get some other nokia model ( its the best user friendly brand )6300 is over hyped , its just a matter of time before people realize that its a piece of crap . it just looks nice and slim and thats about it , i used it for 2 weeks and now am back to using my bulky but amazing 6681, one more thig THE NOKIA 6300 IS NOT A SYMBIAN 40 PHONE ITS A NOKIA SERIES 40 PHONE ,
if you want looks and style and dont care about features - u can buy it , cheers

Im a gsm dealer and what I can say its there are 2 versions of 6300. The difference between them are based on software. The second have a much better battery usage and and can gain about 24-36 hours in stand by. The first version come with the first 3 transports but since a week ago we received only 6300 with the second version...so I higly recomand this phone now

Just remember when buying this phone, screen and buttons and shape and size fantastic, but when you use the thing the qulaity of sound and speaker is very very poor, im a high user, nearly 3 hours a day and need something light as wear a suit and put phone in pockets. thats why i bought this moby... Big mistake....

how splendid,the person who said menues on 6300 crap what planet are you on menues on this phone are fast and its packed with loads of features , and you like 60 series well i dont and vodafone told nokia they will be supporting microsoft softwear not just nokia 60 series,so it cant be that good can it lol, my 6300 does not heat up batt good i dont think you have seen one when your upgrade is dew and you get one let me know what you really think exelent phone its flying out of shops here so are all those people wrong erm i dont think so would like to bet you Ģ20.ooo that this will be best selling nokia to date by the end of year so put your money up or shut up, and like ive said before so this is another person who likes i different model well what are you doing in this forum its nokia 6300 forum lol great phone great looks great screen could wright about it all day so please come back in this forum at the end of the year to see if this is the best selling nokia to date then would like to hear your nonsense about this phone

i wouldnt dare put BL-5C battery in this phone..if it heated up then i wouldnt use the phone(fear) tht it wil blow up..nah i wouldnt do that...i think the standard bl-4c is better since it comes with the phone..

hi guys , hate to say this but , i do agree with all the negative reviews the phone has got , i got the 6300 2 weeks back and started using it , nfact also made two of my friends buy it ( and now they r abusing me ) it is actually a piece of crap , no good features and if u r presently using a symbian based phone ( and like symbian ) DO NOT change for a 6300 , the menu is stupid and crazy , a few other things to mention ,are that the battery heats up and makes the phone un-comfortable to use after 7-9 minutes , also the sound is nothing great , it does crackle at high volume , i guess the only reason the noki6300 is a big hit till now is cause nokia has launched a slim phone after years the only other phone as slim or close to this was the 6100 , anyway as someone here said its like a porche with a useless engine , stay away - get something else

ps: also did put in the bl5c , it lasts a day longer but it also heats up , and to add to it , as someone here said IT MAY BLOW UP and take a piece of your ear with it , is always in your mind , so ure always on the alert , nah - not worth it .
