hey guys 3 questions from me this time ,
1st -does this phone have a alarm snooze function .
2nd - can you choose ure alarm ring tone or does it have a standard one .
3rd- when setting an alarm does it tell you how much time ( hours / mitutes ) left till the alarm comes on .
i know they r all very small concerns ( except the snooze function ) but am use to the sppon feeding by the symbian based nokia 6681 .
THANX IN ADVANCE FOR URE ANSWERS - sahilm
My fellow readers,
I saw Robert De Niro using the 6300 in GOLD at Beverly Hills just now.
Cool..... (6300 in GOLD).
Yes, Cool is right, the battery on the 6300 is darn good.
I bought it here in South Africa 2 months ago. And have not charge it once. I heard that the battery was not too good, but mind is good.
The battery last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last last and last and last and last and last and last and last and last until God knows when.
I got my 6300 for a month already. I have charged it only once. How come I read that the battery is weak? It is good on my.
Talk time :- 45mins (talked to my girlfriend in Thailand.). Listen to music - more than 2hrs, took 20+ photos, 15mins video. All these were done during the first week when i have the phone. The battery were at 20% after that. I had to charge it on the 2 week. I think that is really GOOD.
bogo

(ONLY MY OPINION)
Have been waiting for this phone for ages, couldn't wait for it to be released in the uk, bought one pay as you go for £150??? Was expecting a tip top of the range Nokia phone available on contract only, currently own a Nokia 6233. The 6300 is looks really smart, ultra thin, nice sharp picture from a 2 meg. camera although the sound quality wouldn't compare to the Nokia 6233, ringtones are kinda tinny & voice clarity isn't as good. To sum if off if you currently own a Nokia 6233 or similar keep your money in your pocket & don't consider the 6300. (But as the title says only my opinion)
there is NO BLACK nokia 6300 launched as yet , there was a guy here who said there was one , i sent him an e-mail ,,, to which his answer was --- i havent seen it a friend of mine told me so , !!! if anyone here has got one please post it on the net with a link to it here,, i still stick to my word there is NO BLACK nokia 6300 as yet - would be happy to be proved wrong .
there is indeed an all black nokia 6300. bought mine from hongkong. very classy and sleek design.
The nokia 6300 is not a symbian based phone its a nokia series40 phone .
I admit this is indeed a very dumb querry but is this phone running on symbian S60 or is it your regular ol' S40 phone?
beautiful looking phone, reminds me of the sony ericsson T610, but where is the flash? there seems to be alot of effort just to take the cover off, no rubber grip- ROLL ON the NOKIA 6310 with flash
Nice phone to have in many years. Screen is outstanding. Size is very slim but a bit heavier than other slim phones. Key pad is comfortable. Battery is good. Speaker is nice. Only thing it lacks is looks.
I've had the 6300 a while now and would like to post opinion on some of the issues.
Battery life, It's more than good enough for everyday use, don't you people charge your phone at night!?! I've never had a problem with it.
Vs the other Nokia products, this phone is all about slim beautiful design, if you want a phone with high specs get a N-series. They're not to be compared. However saying that, this phone is well spec'd compared to say a motorola slvr which is comparable size/cost wise. The 6300 wipes the floor with that!
This is a perfect phone for design and size. It's easy to use, robust and will be a classic!
Bogo - ( and all new people here with inquiries) kindly take out time and read all the posts , u will find all the answers you are looking for , people here have written about all the problems/remedies , eg .. batt life / how to use a bl5c instead of a 4c , how to get rid of the crackling sound on high volume ,if its louder than the 6233 or not , picture quality , price etc etc ,, all u need to do is take out time and read !!
which is the true talk time at 6300 ?
6300 has problem with sound at maximum lavel?
please help me with a corect answer!
poor battery life and heatup. The ideal nokia would be a 6233 with a 1000 name contact list to make it easy for people to upgrade from 6230i.
oh here is the correct email address for info on covers as per last post
