this phone runs on S40. as you may have notice, there is no dedicated key for the menu of S60 (the swirling something). there you go! :)
Hey can anyone tell me what OS this phone would have? GsmArena doesnt mention and when i check on the Nokia sites, some say S60 and some S40. I dont know which one is more likely. With the added WiFi on board Nokia should make this an S60, but then that would mean slowed down performance, because of its not so strong processor.
hey guys... i never knew ther was a 6301... i have the normal 6300 and im very happy with it... but ther are only 2 main problems with it... 1) bad battery 2) its a gd fone but it needs more features... other than that im happy with it...
well atleast it has Wi-Fi ! its a great feature!!!! for a phone like this.....
and atleast this phone is NOT Lame....thank god
I agree wifi cud b useless if u cant find a hotspot but thats not the case in most places . Many homes nowadays have wireless broadband, and many cities. My own city (Cork in ireland) is getting complete wifi coverage soon (thanks smart telecom!) So wifi isn't as useless as u think !
phone is quite seleek and chic,...but battery life very very weak...
yah, not much of a difference, i have the Nokia 6300, its a good fone though, but the battery life sucks big time!
wifi is pretty much useless if you're not gonna use it, or if you can't find that hotspot
The difference between the 6300 and 6301 is:
1. The 6301 has WiFi (802.11b/g). This means that you can use the phone to make calls via VoIP (Vonage, etc) when you are in a WiFi hotspot, saving a LOT on calls to land lines, overseas, etc.
2. The 6301 is slightly thicker.
