6310i is the best phone ever. Lost mine in an airport after 8 years of use. Had many others including N900. None compare.

The N900 is a great little browser device, but I'd love to throw it in my backpack for browsing use only and put another 6310i on my belt for use as a phone.

The 6310i works great with a blue-tooth headset and is perfect for one-handed operation. It is relatively safe to use while doing other tasks because you can do most of the basic operations with only a few quick glances at the screen and largely without looking at the screen (in much the same manner as you would when touch-typing without looking a keyboard).

Very sad to see Nokia have left us without a fitting replacement. The form factor and feel of the 6310i were perfect.

Yes your phone if TYPE - NPL-1 and Made in Germany then it is original.

The Battery normally is Made in China. Many years back for the 6310i the battery would come engraved with NOKIA on its face and Made by Nokia would be engraved.

Excelent battery. I have one and it during about 8 days with 5 calls/day and many messages. I use too the bluetooth device. My 6310i has 7 years and works very well.

Nothing special ..

does the job - call and text
with extra's like email etc..

superb battery life .. and looks good too ..
still using one now ..

after using a lot of modern phones I still revert back to this unit ..

just elegant classy .. =)

Ok....Great Battery life - Standby time of 12 days!
Design - very ergonomic, can be used one handed for dialling and texting.
Intuitive software.
Durability - can take a good bashing and still keep working.
Antenna - great signal strength.
Once you have one and get used to it,you'll never want to change!

i need help with regards to my 6310 i i bought yesterday . i think it will be refurbished one but i dont mind

1) how to see software version and how to upgrade to the best version

2) my 6310i is TYPE - NPL-1

CE 168

Made in Germany . Is it original .

3) Battery is Made in china Type - BPS-2 3.6V
but it doesnt say how many mah !!! is this Original ?

I use 6310i from the day they put them on the market. Now I use 4th device. I use also other models but I trust good old 6310i the most. Never faced any problems with it! I respect this phone.
Sadly it's of no use in Japan as I discovered few weeks ago. Once Europe will change completely to 3G and then...
