Sir,It is having problem in micro phone in this type 6500 series.Voice is not clear to recepient.Pls suggest.Regards
Nokia 6500 classic is not so much audible through microphone. If you are calling to the man 'A' then he will not be hearing well because the voice is breaking through microphone where as the earpiece is good to accept the voice. Please opine for the improvement.Regards.

to charag... moreUSB Charger? Get used to it. The "big ones", I mean the 5 companies ruling 80% of the market have made an agreement some months ago, that in 1,5 year of a time, they all will only come up with phones, where the chargers is mini USB made. This makes life much more easier, specially when you are out travelling. There will be no longer things like SE / LG / Motorola, or Nokia (etc) charger. Just a "charger". You may hate it now, but will love it in 2 years.
On the other hand, I am not happy for that. One single connector in the car for a charger and for the head set. Or the data cable. Many people still prefer wired head-sets for saving battery and have a stereo output (personally I have way too many chargers (including manual feed versions) and a Nokia BH902 and a BH501, but at least I am, so I am never left without power, but have a back-pack of 3 kgs. But not every one is such a geek as I am

mostlty while we travelling
using this phone for about a year,,
buy it because my stupid o2 broken for thousand times ..
I use it as my secondary phone right now
good phone with nice looking design,,
some nice standard nokia features,,
but also there are some weaknesses,
first is the battery life that makes me sick since i have to charge it each night,, but maybe this because i compare it to other phone in my house which has much better batt life (iPhone and P1i)
second i reckon that the cam is not very good,, it can zoom and do other things but the picture is not even close to what my iPhone with 1.3 megpx takes,,, it is just not clear with some dots on the pics, but i don't use it much so i don't care bout it.
third is the keypad,, not comfy when you texting,, i don't know whether it just me since i feel comfy with apple's virtual keyboard, which makes me type faster using iPhone rather than using 6500,,
but i think the keypad is juz too hard..
overall good phone the 1 gig mem (If i'm not forgotten) is enough for a secondary phone, or if u really want to buy this phone and want to have music player better to buy another cheap mp3 player since 1 gig won't be enough for u i think..
but overall to find a good looking phone with moderate features this phone is a good choice, just remember to charge it everyday though ..
What is the price of this handset?
Also the expandable memory feature is not available, what about that?

Ibought one few a weeks ago the phone is realy good nice looking classic easy to use handset noticed no problems at all i think the 6500 classic is a realy good nokia mobile worth every penny....

I have this phone for almost a year now. Previously I had nokia E61, before that 6680.
+ solid, scratch resistant, pretty fast, java applications are working fine, impressive display, good camera on day light photos,
- rigid keypad, symbian S40, No HSDPA, long calls kills the battery.
I hope it helps
