Hey guys! You own CHINAMADE devises!I bought my 6500 in Europe(MADE IN EUROPE)for $500.00 and working at least 3 days before it needed to be charging!
Hi, I’m planning on getting this phone to replace my Nokia e65, which became useless after the firmware upgrade. Big mistake! Anyway, back to this phone. Anyone used the email function on this phone? That was my main use of the e65, outside calls. Appreciate the feedback.
hi there i am soo inlove with the phone its doing everything that i dreamed of in a phone
if you guys could just keep on providing handsets like that one. you go
I have just bought the phone a couple of days ago and the battery life is shocking for a new phone. It's nowhere near what is advised (5 1/2 HR talktime). It has not lasted me a single full day and I do not talk for anywhere near 5 hours.
i am not happy with this phone as battery dies in a day itself if you can carry your charger with yourself then this is the best mobile to buy!!!!!!!!!!!!
nice phone, but think again about the battery.
if talking every day not too much, charge it every night.
the guy who was talking about 4-5 days? get real, man, no model from Nokia has lifetime longer than days. I mean if you USE the phone not keep it in glass box and look at him...
For lifetime use Sony Ericsson !
Bought the phone late december.. It has everything you could wish for.
Sure, the battery doesn't work a very long time. But also not considerably short.
Work in a cell phone shop myself.
Can recommend this phone to anyone. Other phones have more features. The 6500 Classic however has the coolest design and it easily fits pockets.
Umair you go to: Menu, Settings, Security. And then set a pin code and security code.
plz help me
How can i apply password or security code to my nokia 6500 classic???
Plz help me...
Ian, well, for how long are you talking each day, then? I'm calling for about 35 minutes every week, and my phone's battery dies in about 8 days! It's really a good result.
I have had this phone for the last 3 weeks now. Very nice design, easy to use.
Biggest fault is after a few calls the battery dies, taken it back and got new battery and the same issue occurs. If you not mind charging your phone every night it is the phone for you. shop assistant told me a few people have returned them too. so not just isolated incident
I was given this handset through my company and to be completely honest- I AM VERY IMPRESSED!!!
A good allround phone- I have had not one problem with this handset... YET!
I would definately recommend this handset to anyone interested
very nice model of phone...very handy and very easy to used...much cheaper compare to other mobile phone
The classic by the way is more reliable. No moving parts to be subjected to wear n tear
I work in a cell phone store. Comments such as phone freezes, drops calls and switches itself off I hear from 8am to 17h30 all day from Nokia owners. The phone that comes in most for repairs? Nokia. Nokia were GREAT 4 yrs back but sadly have lost their edge. Great design looks but in an emergency do you want to look pretty or do you want reliability? Also symbian, although very adaptable is not so stable. Try a windows based device such as HTC and you will see the difference. Easy to operate, reliable.
can someone tell me which one is honestly better, the 6500 slide or 6500 classic.
Just got this phone after taking back the 6500 slide. I can say this wee phone is excellent.
I did panic when charging the other night as it didn't look like it was charging for about 3 minutes (i.e no charging symbol on the screen etc) anyone else experience this?
I'd buy one, and I loved!! he is beautiful, gold, etc.
to the lady below who can't spell with: the classic has been well praised by all my clients, unfortun8ly the same can't be said about the slide phone. in my view the slim puts the slide to the sword!
