Overall, this is a great phone. Light, slim, good specifications. The only weaknesses on this phone are:

- Loudspeaker is very weak (don not turn the volume to max often, or put the bass preset). Loudspeaker damages easily.
- USB Connector. Put the charger or USB cable gently, or you will damage the connector.
- Battery life (1,5 day max)
- Average signal reception

Everything else is great. I'M A PHONE DEALER, I HAD MANY OF THESE PHONES, AND THESE WERE COMMON FACTS ABOUT THEM.

I purchased this really cool and slim nokia 6500c phone but unfortunately after 1 month it broke down I went to the showroom they told me to go to the service center, I went there and guess what they don't know their job. The problem didn't end here every time when I went to the nokia service center they just format the phone and gave it me, they didn't even know what's the problem with the phone. And after a year all the system of my phone shunted down, it's dead now and this is because of the unskilled labour of that damn service center, now I don't believe in Nokia. So this is my advice to all those people how planning to purchase new brand nokia and willing to spend 10,000/- to 16000/-, pal give a try to 2nd hand hand-sets.

I bought this phone for the man, who works hard and breaks phones all the time. I chose it because it has a metal casing, not the flimsy plastic that everything else is.

Its still going after a year, so 10/10 as a workmans phone.

i have one 6500c then i already change the keyboard becoz the mic have problem....after that...the phone have other problem...when i charge the phone.....chager not support word will appear at the screen...can i know what problem ????

this phone are very sensitive,every time i used the bluethoot to transfer a data to my fone.my fone will atomatically shut down..it happens not once but thrice then send my fone to the nearest nokia center and my fone stayed a month then changed the board of the unit,but the unit has the same problem.the fone is not useful anymore,and i want to throw it...

i just understand that its ac is not working which is causing to charge the cell. local people here unable to maintain its ac.....now what to do?????? any suggest wl be highly appreciated. thank you. ramesh /nepal

The phone is good, but its charging port does not work, but shows on the screen that a USB cable is connected, hence it consumes a lot of battery. What do i do about it? Your reply w'ld be highly appreciated.

i am using this set from more than two years .

but some 2/3 month ago when i used head sets on it , then problem started , the problem is its battery . the original battry did not work and i changed it , i changerd more than 3/4 new batteries, but every one give just less than 30 minute time , it never charges full and some time it even does not charge .

this is the big problem for me , charger is working well,

please suggest me how i can operate it in well condition .

it is handy , easy to handle and costly set .

i am sad that it is not working.

I am using this phone since 6 months but there was no problem in this phone even it it a perfect cellphone for user's. In my opinion this ever best Nokia phone i have used.
