This phone really has it all.The only thing missing is the S60 FP1 OS with the 369Mhz processor.No lags,just pure enjoyment.

The Nokia N80 battery is "Lithium Ion 820 mAh (BL-5B)". Over 192 hours in standby and 3 hours for talking.
The Nokia 6500 Slide, my favorite ;), use "Lithium Ion 900 mAh" battery. Over 320 hours in standby and 6 hours for talking.

i say big-ups! nokia............ in my opinion best phone by far, bt then again we all have not so similar tastes.... can't wait to get my hands on this one.

You're right RP....Sea-Breeze can't read.

The battery is a 900ma. It has a 6 hr. talk time.

People should check their facts before trying to discredit a product.

the n80 does NOT have the same battery. the 6500 is 900 mAh. do you people even read? correct me if i'm wrong.

i plan on using the 6500 for GSM only so i'll happily take the 6 hour talk time.

Dam it .. the battery is veryyy poor the same of the N80 last only for 12hours if u r lucky!!! don't ever think of getting it

Hi its not Nokias fault pal its the networks like Vodaphone,Orange an T-Mobile always have to get there phones made with there stupid Logos on them an certain software thats why i am with O2 they never mess about with there mobiles but the others do if the networks didn"t do this it would be available now i am sure can"t wait to get one myself it looks an sounds a very good mobile from Nokia but i wish it was All Blackinstead of Silver an Black but Nokia will release a improved version after a couple of months an it will be all Black,they have done this with the N73 an now going to release the N95i all Black

well i asked an importer around here in the states who is very solid store who gets all import phones. they said september 24th they will have them in stock. i dont know if that means thats the release or thats when that particular store gets them in. i'm still hoping for august 27th because september 24th is too long to wait. its still over a month!! what the heck is going on here nokia?

i know da exact date as my fathers friend is our countrys largest mobile importer.hes gonna get it at that date and hes givin slide to me n classic to my father for free. he usually gives us gifts like that as hes my fathers friend from kindergarden theve never bin apart u see.

Why do people insist on saying this phone sux cause' it doesn't have S60??

Nokia has TONS of S60 phones if you want em'.

Should Nokia alienate it's mid-range buyer group so they can exclusively make smart-phones?

C'mon.....it is what it is. It is Nokia's S40 flagship model clad with stainless steel and great features.

t buy it.
