This phone is awful and not worth your money. Working for Optus as we speak and we have more then 10 handsets a week coming in for repair.

Please be wise when it comes to buying phones and do your research.

Actually, your statement is not correct.

Try the front camera of the N73, please.
You can use it for taking pics at 0.3MP.
Just press the joystick instead of the camera button.

> In reply to Liv @ 2008-08-15 17:26 from ny$yMacro mode is used for taking pictures at very close range inorder to capture the fine detail. Auto focus comes in this instance. When capturing in macro mode, do the half press until a green frame appears on the screen. Then press the camera button fully to complete the capture process. If you see a red frame it means the picture is not in focus coz the object is too close to the lens. Move the camera a little further and try the half press to see if you can get the green frame then complete the picture taking with a full press. The macro pictures taken with the 6500 slide are amazing....better than any autofocus fon camera i have ever used.

Ok, the quality of the pictures taken with this phone is amazing (for a phone of course). I just wonder how to take MACRO PHOTOS with it. It's in the review here that you can take macro photos with 6500 slider...do they mean just zoom? because I cannot fint this option here

I keep reading about people asking how to use the front camera. And i ask myself...why would anyone want to use the front camera which has far less resolution when you got a 3.2 megapixel autofocus main camera with good optics?????? Use the main back camera please guys!!!!

> In reply to asad @ 2008-08-14 10:20 from Rxf9no no no nooooo, geeeeeezzz
firstly.... the front cam cannot be used for photo's, but dont worry no front cam on any phone can be used for pics..video calls only! and that counts for every phone on the market that sports a front cam.. okkkkkkk...
secondly.... light sensor is used for screen brightness not key lights..
err hope that helps.

> In reply to asad @ 2008-08-14 10:20 from Rxf9Your front camera is only for video calling and serves no purposs as a camera for photographs and as for the sensor you might have to set it for on, I suggest you read the manual, It seems there's a lot of people come on here without doing just that!

> In reply to razak @ 2008-08-10 10:36 from fvedi've already bring my phone to Nokia Care, and they've already change IC for read memory card. It work properly now, except software still hang and restart by itself...it makes me dissapointed. If i want to sell it, maybe the price is dropped. better to use "candybar model" than slide model for nokia.

> In reply to johan @ 2008-08-10 07:11 from ceqxYou can turn the sound of the camera by going to camera, settings, camera sounds then choose off...this phone is great especially the camera...you will not need to bring a digital camera...
