s60 symbian os
its just normal s40(java apps only :(

Holy crap dude....you don't want this phone because it doesn't support some crazy apps like a lie detector, or spy pro, & a conversation recorder??

Hi y'all, was hoping if someone can share with me their opinion and knowledge of this phone which i may intend to buy in the near future. Ive been using SE phones for the past 5 years btw. Anyway, i would like to know...

1)Is there multiple alarm clocks for nokia 6500 slide? (like most SE phones there are 5 alarm clocks )

2) how is the built in speaker for this phone.. is it as loud as SE W850i?

Nokia 6500s is very smart,but i came to know that it does not support the applications SPY CALL,PRO RECORDER,LIE DITECTOR.....etc.Is it true?

i'm an SE user, but thinking of switching coz i heard that you can save sms etc to memory cards (as far as i know - can't do that on my SEs)...so end up having to delete sms all the time.

so just wanted to know if messages etc be saved onto nokia memory cards? thanks.

i like the Nokia 6500s
although is a bit heavy compare to other phone because it is make of metal but i like it because i feel something when i am holding it.
bad thing is it cant hold a lot of sms. u cant transfer the sms to the memory card.
just got it yesterday.
Will hang somethings when using radio or press too fast but basically it is a good phone. not too bulky and slimmer then the rest of the phone i use before.

i own a LG275, N73, E90 and Nokia 6500s. i like Nokia 6500s. I own also N95, P990i, K800i but sold all of them. i skip SE P1, SE K850i due to i am scare of the SE OS that really give me headache. I kick Samsung due to the battery lasting althoug it is slim but battery dont even last me from 8 to 6.

But Nokia 6500s last me 2 days min. i am an It Tech so i normally make a lot of phone call and receive a lot of calls so i think a phone that had hand holding feel from prevent dropping and battery can l;ast me for min from 7am till 12 midnite.

U600 are very nice phones indeed! only point to raise would be because they are sooo slim and made of plastic they can flex more easily in pockets etc and the screens/lcd can break. So excellent phone, but treat them carefully!

Who says you u600 is a crap. you dont have any idea about mobiles. U 600 is reall y slim,sleek and sexyyyyyyyyyyy...... VEry good phone. I recommende everyone to buy u 600

We have these available in Carphone Warehouse free on contracts £35pm / 18month contract or £40pm on 12 month contracts... they're quality phones!!
Also have the 6500 classic shape free on £30pm contracts... Built quality is excellent, the menu's are faster then the N series and the buttons are more accesible than the 88/8600etc.

It's a big difr between 6500/n95!!!
you should go with n95.6500 is a nice phone.. but in a few months the price will be way low then n95.stay with the big boys :)n95!

You should try & buy it from a sleer in the USA.

The SLide is all over Ebay. Many of the sellers ship internationally.

And yes....This is the greatest phone I have ever owned.

lolio...is mentally channelled. The build on this phone is even better than the Luna. It is built just like you want a phone to be built like!!

everyone listen 2 me i think its the best phone to be bought i know there are phones like k800i k810i t650 or more but the thing is that they are sony ericsson and expensive even if it will cost 370 euros at the begin soon it will drop its price think its positive 3g 3,2mpixels 2 flash and more and more ...when it arrives im gonna buy this baby i suggest u to do the same

So what ? Because it is made of metal it cannot look cheap ? You should see my car : it is made of metal all right, but it is a real junk !

By the way it is not that expensive here in Thailand : 290 euros, same price as the Samsung U600 which is really crap
