There might be a solution about the shutting off problem of the Nokia 6555 - it might be the battery compartment. If you will open the battery cover, check if you can move the battery up and down...if yes then that might be the cause of the pro...

Mine shuts off too, and it is pretty annoying when you are towards the end of a text and then it shuts off. Ugghhh. The battery does not last long either.
