Nice looking phone, never hear it ringing, battery dies really quickly, dropped it once not even from a height and had to replace screen. Hard to text one handed. Cuts out when making calls and poor reception. Now it died on me and I've been informed the main PCB needs replacing but it is uneconomical to repair. It is 2 months out of Warranty. Stay away from this phone if you want one that lasts.

I have had 6600 for over a year and can't wait to upgrade. Signal strenght is bad and the backlight goes off after 10 seconds - very difficult when trying to text or read a text. The phone also cuts out during calls. Other Nokia phones I've had have been brilliant but not this one

Not a good phone at all!!!
fully charged this phone last night and i woke up to the phone burning my arm and the battery dead!!!
I have problems with service (at first I thought it was the service provider as they are upgrading their network at the moment).
I have had nothing but problems with this phone since i got it (i've only had it for 2months).
Phone likes to turn off whenever it wants, phone often freezes, speaker is really quiet, service is CRAP!
I strongly suggest to stay away from this phone

This phone is a nightmare. I've begun to hate mobile phones after this disaster landed in my pocket.
-> Volume levels really low. End up missing all my calls, alarms etc.
-> Doesnt pick up network signal. When i went to wayanad, all my friends - even people who had 2000 rs phones were able to get network - I couldnt :( even though we all used the same service provider.
-> Hangs quite frequently, very irritating.
-> Battery life is poor.
-> If i turn on the speaker - I have to turn off the phone to use it normally again.
-> Phone gets really sizzling hot if you talk for sometime.
-> Fell down once. Screen cracked. 2000 rs to repair even within warranty period.
My advice: Stay far far away from this phone.

Agreat looking phone, nice weight and pocket size but it is the worst phone i have ever had.
My screen kept fading until eventually i had no back light!
The volume levels are stupid and i find myself using loud speaker to male calls.
The battery life is very small.
It gets very hot during use.
Do not buy this phone. If you do then don't say you have notbeen warned!

This phone is terrible. The OS etc is fine, but it has a fundamental design/manufacture issue, in that it heats up way too much, and drains the entire battery in 12 hours. I've just had one replaced on warranty for this issue, and the new one is doing the exact same thing. It's a shame, it'd be a great phone if it actually held charge.

Used it for 1 year, have the same problem with my colleague who is also using same model. It will black off itself and restart. Always hang when browsing photo. Restart by open the battery, all selection of mode become 1 step slower. Ringing tones/incoming call not strong enough coz the sound come out from small hole behind. If put on the table, soften the sound somemore... Other than that, is quite a good phone, small size, light and easy to carry. Will Nokia 6260 better than this?
