I think Nokia faces a Great shortage in their model number. That’s why they just add some word with the previous model number and there is no similarity between the new and the old model.Ex-Nokia 6600 was symbian operating and Nokia 6600 slide is Java operating.

How many nokia 6600?
1)6600 with VGA camera
2)6600 fold with 2MP Camera
3)6600 Slide with 3.15MP camera
what a waste!

Wow...
That didn't take long for a successor. I still like the original 6500 Slide more. It looks much classier & the rectangular shape is more appealing...
I'll have to wait & see what reviews say about it though.

Hope VGA recording is Mp4 like in the 3600 slide. 3gp format is not smooth and crisp enough

Yeah...nice one.
Stylish design and nice keypad.
3.15mp camera makes it cool.
But one thing is that its not symbian.

This phone hasn't VGA screen for two reasons:
It would be very power hungry and
It would make the phone more expensive.
Afterall for a 2.2 inches screen QVGA resolution is just fine.
Anyway I think that Nokia will launch the VGA resolution on their Nseries phones first.
About the design of this phone: Gorgeous

One more thing...Why does everyone want Wi-fi on their phone? Have people forgotten what a laptop is mainly used for? Phones are for calling, not connecting to the internet. How will anyone enjoy browsing the internet on a small cell phone screen? Have people lost their minds? Seriously...

This phone seems very similar to the 6220 Classic. Especially, the comfortable keypad! This phone looks promising and the design is moving in the right direction. Feature-wise, I would say that is is somewhat lacking. The should have included a 3.5 MM headphone jack for music although an adapter would solve that flaw.
The camera is VGA 15 fps. Should have been 30 fps. Another flaw. No phone is perfect. At least it has autofocus.
Nokia should start implementing VGA screens instead of QVGA for them to be far ahead the competition. This would make their phones great!
This phone is good, but not great. However, you can't judge a book by its cover. Let's see what reviews will have to say in the next couple of months...
