I have really liked this phone.Before i posted this it fell down and it is still working.I have had for about 18 months.I was among the first people to have it in my country.I have loved its camera.Its infrared has assisted me to surf.It has bored me via transfering staff.For any problem you can inquire from me.Big up to nokia and all users.

Just buy a DKU-5 data cable for my Nokia 6610i but it doesn't working well. My PC cannot detect my cellular phone (6610i). Why?

This phone rocks! I have been using it since April 2005 and I have enjoyed every bit of it.Anyone who needs a durable and reasonably cheap phone should go for it. It's worth the try!

Great phone and all. Only problem is that i have never enjoyed the radio and am torn between taking it to the quack "doctors" for repair and risk losing it or giving up!!

I am using this phone for about one year.I've made a record in dropping phone on ground,even then i works fine.Rock solid one. I really like the FM radio but the camera is not good.Infrared doesn't work.

Hi,
To Ditri
ca-42 is more recent, connects with more phones(e.g Nokia 6020),especially those that do not connect thru' dku-5, at least or so I think. May be somebody correct if am wrong.

This phone is with me for over 2 years now. I bought it last September of 2004.
This is a very tough phone. My wife has thrown it to me twice already and of course it didn't hit me. The first time it hit a concrete wall, the second was a cabinet made of wood. The frame suffered a crack but it worked perfectly well after assembling it. Until now I'm still using my Nokia 6610i and will use it hopefully for two more years.

I have been using this phone for over six months now. I have a problem with connectivity; will someone help me connect it to the PC? The CA-42 cable is hard to comeby here and the DKU 2 cable, which available in the market is unfortunately, not compactible to the phone. 6610i is strong and reliable.Good battery life,lightweighted,snd nice radio reception.
Problem is with the camera.Quality is poor and the picture size is very small.Infrared doesn't work.
This phone is ideal for rough use.I have been using it for 3 years.It fell down a dozen times but it works absolutely fine.If u just wantto receive and speak i recommend 6610i

The infrared of this phone itīs only to send or receive contacts.
Pictures or sound is not possible to send by infrared.
If you guys think your infrared doesnīt work try do send a contact to see if it works.

THIS PHONE ROCKS. i've dropped it a gazillion times, and it still works. even fell into the toilet bowl, and after 2 days it worked! but the design and functions are really boring.
