We share the same problem. My Nokia 6610i is working with calls nad messaging. I am happy with it not until finding its infrared sending and receiving capabilities as NOT working.
I can the InfraRED ON. It shows in the status bar but i cant send and recieve pictures thru IR. help anyone?

" I am using this phone for a almost 5 years now, there's really nothing more i could wish for, - I do love doing group messages for quotes and updates and such stuffs like that so I'm thankful for the distribution list feature, I get to download java games (way back when I still have the access to wap for free- toinks!), I can do picture editings, but for one thing, - infrared isn't working or doesn't really work. everytime I try to send an mms via infrared, I just can't. is it an add up application or system to use or for nothing? "

Great phone my friend sold it to me for only rs 500!!! with new Japanese Battery Genuine casing and Genuine Hands free of Nokia and i am very very happy its not even opened and with all of its box and great phone etc!!!

I like this phone very much.I am using this phone from 2005 and the call duration is 1224hrs then to any problem with the phone so i am lovin it.

I'm using this since jun-2005. Still i'm using this. I did not face any kind of problems. Really superb phone for me. Slowly it is showing some bateery issue.

why cant i recieve mms's?
I have a problem recieving them, it tells me to visit a site to see them. whats going on?

I used this phone in 2005- 06. This was basic camera and FM radio phone. It was a good phone at that time. I was using this phone till recently, but unfortunately, it was stolen from my home.
