i am confused. can somebody help me? which one is better to buy as to features, 6681 or 6630 or 6230i?

seems like a lot of feature-filled phones are having problems (case in point: nokia 3230 or sony ericsson k750..). hope it's not a sign of things to come. personally, i will be buying my next phone locally so it is easy to return or exchange.

I was excited when I got my new Nokia 6681, then it turned sour as the Bluetooth refused to be turned on. Brought it back to the retailer. He tried it - it worked fine! Brought it back and tried it - darn bluetooth didn't turn on again. Keep getting " Bluetooth operation cannot be completed" error message. Brought it back to the retailer (Day 2) and was brought to its service centre. The technician flashed the Symbian OS to reinstall it. Worked fine at the centre then. Brought it back home and you guess it - bluetooth refused to come on again. Day 3: complained toretailer VS.COM Malaysia. Was told to go to Nokia Service Centre. Waited two hours - didn't know what they did (apparently they relashed the Symbian OS again). Brought it back and again it didn't work. I was getting @#%&** (deleted expleted). Day 4: went back to retailer and they changed a new phone for me. Now it works fine (fingers crossed). Now, the question is - why didn't Nokia do a quality control and check the phones before exporting them (made in China apparently!)

I purchased NOKIA 6681 on 23rd of June 2005 and the day i took i was not able to call from log or phone book and when i charged it it is continuously getting charged and the signal is not coming on phone that BATTERY FULL. I had given to NOKA CARE 27th June 2005 and they returned the phone on 29th june 2005 stating that it is fully rectified. But to my surprise when i am charging it, the same it is going on charging continously for 7 - 8 hours and the indication is not stopping and BATTERY FULL signal is not coming. I checked the charger, it is OK. can u tell how to rectifiy the problem. Now after giving to NOKIA CARE i am able to make calls from log and phone book. some times i am not able to listen on LOUDSPEAKER and the key is getting stuck while the call is on. TWO Problems, one is BATTERY FULL not displaying and second LOUDSPEAKER key getting stuck. kindly advise. Thanks

My nokia 6681 is still defective.Nokia customer care is not able to fix it .As they are saying that nokia is yet to release the upgaded version of software.So I am without phone now.It is still with nokia care since 16-06-05 and today is 27 th june
What a fool made by nokia.They have released it on beta version .Now everybody is haveing spme compliants though in different areas

overall the n6681 is great. i've tried the printing features and all is well. GRPS support (thru SMART/Globe mobile) works for me too. i've been using the phone for about a month now, i have the usual hang-ups due to memory lags..
some things i really have to comment:
(1) by some weird case, the pics in my images folder in the RS-MMC suddenly disappear.. whoa?? i have a full battery and i didn,t do anything to the storage. clueless still...
(2) i think a design error on the back cover.. obviously made of hard,scratch-resistant material(plastic). through continued use the sliding becomes shaky a bit. also, if u are not aware, when u grip or press the slide at it's top portion.. its upper tip can scrath the metal plating around the camera lens.. Nokia should have made it sturdier or angled it higher a bit.
well, that's all.. but aside from this the phone rocks and the sound/multimedia capabilities are great. -ntvmobile@yahoo.com

What is the software version of your phone 6681.Actually I am in troble.Wver since I bought this phone ,it is with nokia care.They are saying that it require new version of software,which is yet to released by nokia.Ridiclus.Then why in the first instance Nokia released the phone.Any how pl tell the version as per your phone.Mine was 3.10.6 RM-57 dt 11-04-05

I bought the 6681 and just have to say it rocks. No bugs no glitches and it works like a charm. I had a choice between the 6680 and 6681 but after hearing bout all the bugs in 6680 i opted for the 6681 and just have to say it is amazing. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

all 6681 users.. can any1 of u do a little favour for me. actually i've been searching for d new integrated music player dat comes in this fone only n is not in 6680. if any1 of u cud send me that software it wud be a real big favour... coz im not able to find it anywhere.. thank u my id is umang_d@msn.com

hello guys....
this is a common problem wid this phone.. u cant make call from phonebook. but i guess i was lucky in a sence that.. first i bought this phone.. but it started giving me problems..so i got it replaced for 6680..which has been wonderful(due to its new firmware version)..though there r few bugs... but they can be ignored..

See my postings since 16-06-05.I bought nokia 6681 on 13-06-05.And since them I am repenting.Even Nokia care has returned my phone stating that it requires new version of software, which has not been released by nokia.

Read my postings since 16-06-05 before buying Nokia 6681 or for that their latesd models.They are taking us for a ride by releasing new phones with new features without testing phones before hand.They want us to do their job and that too by spending alot of money.

Never Buy NOkia 6681.
Read my postings below mentioned.Worse part is that even nokia care says that newer version of software is still not released by nokia,Therefore the phone cannot be repaired.Needless to mention that it is firmware problem which has not ben sortede out bu nokia.I am maikg e mails daily as well faxing to them.But they have choosen to remain silent and not even responding to my emails/faxes
