Anyone encounter problem to power up the phone.
I try very long and finally get it with the sim card in it. But when I power off and changed to another sim card. I cannot power on back. Can the phone be power on without the sim card (the manual said can) but I cannot on it. Anyone have this problem. Thanks

> In reply to mohammad zoeab @ 2009-11-05 12:59 from 2T7Vthe resolution of the camera has absolutely no baring on the quality only the image size .....a 5mp image is capapble of printing at just under 300DPI at A3 ...8mp is a marketig game and will acually lower your image quality as result noise caused by too many pixels on a tiny CCD (light sensor)..if you wanna ref that view DPreview.com or any photographic agazine or website ... and quite frankly 3 years in phone sale ... the camera on this kicks the H*ll out of a C902 or a C905 for that matter which the images are more noisey than a slipknot concert .... its a high quality business phone with out the poor exuse for an OS called sybian, which as a reslt makes it very responsible and usable ... there may a few minor quarms .... But this is a great phone on many levels.

Dont be blinded by spec on paper .... Hyudai make a sports carr Nuff said

Beautifully designed handset, made to high quality, high specification, compact, the tried and tested S40 software, no symbian trash, very fast at everything, very good buy... I also have an iphone so that's saying something. Well done Nokia . . Peace :-)

very nice phone, fast internet (via 3G), takes great pictures, nokia ovi mail works perfectly, great music player, can take a 16GB memory card.
on the down side: battery life. 1-2 days with moderate to heavy use.

I have some problems with this phone.
I bought it in the U.S and I live in Argentina, I found out that only comes with 3 languages, no Spanish. Is there some way to introduce Spanish Language to the telephone and also to de dictionary so I can type messeges in prediction mode?
Another problem is that I download Pc suite for my telephone, download the maps I wanted but the telephone doesn t recongnize my gps position.
Also I wanted to know if I could check my mail from the phone. That s all thanx and please if somebody could help me I would appreciate!!

In the philippines' Smart network, there are many reports of the 6700 classic not being able to send text messages (receiving texts, making/receiving calls, etc all still work). It doesn't hang, can still edit, but can't exit editor (whether by selecting Back, Red hangup button, or Menu>Exit editor). This happens to certain older series of prepaid sim cards, but not all. so you either have to change your number, switch to post paid, or choose another handset. customer service hasn't been cascaded any technical solution to this, but they've encountered this frequently with the 6700 and the similar new units. (2730, 2700...)

As far as I know, it only happens to a specific demographic (older prepaid sims on Smart network in the Philippines), but just the same, worth raising a flag about. :)
