This 6708 is marketed for Chinese Users. The issue with this phone like what you've guys said is the signal problems.
Well, the 6708 shares the same platfrom with the nokia N73 which also has same signal problems as well as the Nokia N71. i've been trying to trouble shoot this kind of problem but it seems there is no going around it.
I know its crazy but the trasmitter must be replaced i guess. I will not suggest that you will replace yours.but I tried to replace one phone and it reads full signal but can't recieve call and messages.
it's a manufacturer's flaw.

I have bought it earlier and used it for atleast for one year and I found that sometime there will be no signal In my phone and when this occurs I will restart the phone and then it will be working fine, this problem occur like daily routine so please suggest me any setting to be done inorder to resolve this issue, please help.... Thenk you.....

I am still using the 6708 and LOVE IT. It has all the features and some features even new phones dont like the IR remote control app...when launched WAY ahead of its times...only nokia has let down by not providing replacement parts, especially the battery.
