> In reply to c @ 2009-03-01 23:18 from 00Y%Why would you want a S40 device over a S60 device? There is more software available for S60 than S40 these days and on such a powerful phone, I fail to see the advantages. There is a reason Nokia moved away from S40 with the 6600 - they were no longer forced to using hardware that didn't support S60 smoothly - powerful enough mobile phone platform to support S60 was readily available in the days of the 6600 and onward, so why look back? It's not like Windows Vista which is just plainly slow and horrid compared to XP now, is it!?

agrees with c on the series 40 thing . maybe prolly series 40 maximum capabilities cannot forgo more than the current market system . i dun noe if u get wat i mean . u noe all those complex codes to make the phone works and all . for example, maybe series 40 can only accept no bigger resolution than 1260 x 960 or sumthink like dat . or maybe it the max out external memory s40 can take is like 2gb while s60 8gb . well, that's just a guess .

Would be nice if this phone came in Series 40. What happened to the good old Series 40? Why isn't Nokia releasing any high-end Series 40 models? Nokia has proven that they can make high-end, best seller Series 40 phones. They proved it with the Nokia 6230, Nokia 6230i, Nokia 6233, etc. Why did those series get discontinued. When I mean series, I mean like the Nokia 6600.
e.g. Nokia 6600>Nokia>6630>Nokia>6680>Nokia N70>Nokia N73>Nokia N82.
Nokia started with the Nokia 6230 and went: Nokia 6230>Nokia 6230i>Nokia 6233, and then the they stopped there. I REALLY hope Nokia sees this. Please Nokia, more Series 40 highend phones. Please bring back the good old days of theNokia 6230, Nokia 6230i, and Nokia 6233.

I think Nokia's coming up with solutions to their poor battery perfo, mid range phones of 2007 &08, lk e 6120c, 5320 Xpress music, & 6220c. & nw all e phones gt e .2inch addition to e screen & e standard 3.5mm AVout Jack:-)
I think for budget consumers lk me who can't afford a N or E Series phone, this's a gud choice cos it's better than e earlier low budget phones.
Think i'll replace ma 6120c with this one:-) seems lk made of solid stuff, unlike e 6220c's Very Cheap material keypad:-(
