> In reply to erika @ 2010-03-12 11:46 from uS}t - click to readI also have my nokia 6730 for 2 weeks now and from my previous nokias the just get better and better, the gps is fantastic it work fast and its very accurate. the gprs cost is almost nothing and its fast and reliable. I would recomend this phone to anybody who loves reliability and style. The only small set back for me is i find it a bit hard to use the buttons, but that just because I'm not use to it..

Can Anybody confirm that the Bluetooth seems to be _very_ weak !!. Just trying with hands-free BH-600 which been working well with E61i, and working-distance of this seems to be very short with clean audio.

> In reply to Drifter @ 2010-02-17 16:45 from NaPC - click to readHi drifter! To overcome the keypad light problem, I know this sounds odd, but I put a very small piece of black insulation tape over the light sensor which forces the keypad lights to come on regardless of ambient light.I have a black Bodyglove silicon puuch so you can't even notice the tape. I've recently done a OTA firmware upgrade so i'm not sutere if it's solved the light sensor problem since I've left the tape on. Hope this helps.

> In reply to Ben @ 2010-02-23 19:48 from fw4H - click to readHi Ben. I'm in Cape Town & I've had mine for around a month now. Got it from Vodashop. It's an awesome phone. You can upgrade from the pre-installed Nokia maps to Ovi maps, with free navigation for life! which is one of the few handsets chosen for free Ovi navigation for life!

I am using this phone since a week. The phone is very awesnome. The following points would be helpful for potential buyers since there are so many good things but unknown to many due to lack of solid review of phone.
Good but hidden: E52 like built in email client supporting MFE with folders support., GPS based Compass, Editable short cut button, Bluetooth on/off by holding the * button as in E52, Latest e series like web browser, very very good battery power and Charging thru usb data cable supported alongwith nokia standard thin pin charger support also. Audio and Camera are not bad.
Bad: little bit difficult to press last row buttons, 2.5 mm jack rather than 3.5 mm.

Anybody know when it will be availible in South Africa? I'm deciding between this and the Sony Ericsson C902... But I'm leaning more towards this Nokia... It's just a pain to have to wait soooo long!

> In reply to Joe @ 2010-02-04 07:43 from n5QC - click to readI used one for a few weeks and discovered all natural and dimmed light which the phone detects kills the keypad lights, yes frustrating, but compare the battery-life, its totally awesome, this phone can go on for days with such a small irritation, if you are a Nokia freak then a little time will master that keypad, NOKIA 6730 Rocks!!!!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-01-29 21:48 from 353K - click to readIt's me again. I put a thin layer of sponge on top of the battery. This kinda helps. Otherwise it's very frustrating when I try to push a button, and I just expect the button to sink in, but then the back cover dents and clicks instead, and I have to "fight further" to push the button. Very bad construction.

I like it very much. I have one problem with it though: The flimsiness of its back cover annoys me. When I keep clicking its buttons with my thumb, the back cover also clicks time to time as it dents and touches the battery again and again. You can practically morse on its back! It's ridiculous! Or is this is a usual thing with cell phones and I am the whiny?
