Does these phone has mpeg-4 video player, because on these site it sais that it doesn't but on europe.nokia.com it sais that it does.

nokia does a good phone and Sony ericsson fans gets bitter, spec wise and design (i guess for girls) its better, more detail. i am impress by the size, the z710, Rarz maxx are big wider and bigger than this

hmm, given that the camera is on the back, and that there seems to be a strange "reinforcement" on the hinge of the phone (most visible on the black one) i have a feel that you can turn the screen around on this phone when using the main camera...

You cannot say this from a cellphone like k800 who have QCIF video quality, from a cellphone who have VGA video quality, or even CIF.
QCIF is the worst resolution ever!
And if you have or had a N73, Mr. bb, maybe you saw the greatest macro and lens with optical zoom, in comparison with a cyber-shot?
Oh, come on! Xenon flash just make the photos more lightfull!
If you read the reviews, the best camera nowadays is nokia's from N80 and N73, specially. Cyber-Shot, is really great, but not in Mobile Phones.

i own a n80 n73 n SEk800i. jus wanna make the point dat no matter how many pixel cam nokia is putting in a fone . their cam quality wil never surpass SE models . SE cam is the best

i've been using s60 for quite sometime already. now switching back 2 s40 is somethin like sweet n bitter of mix feelin. but nevertheless, i think it's a good try w such wonderful awesome stylish fone! everythin should be good except e video... read 2 be takin only qcif poor resolution. isn't tis somethin like se k800i? w great spec except disappointing video aspect. lastly, pardon me if i ask does s40 fones suppport multi-task like any n series fones does? n regarding physical aspect, how big is e screen size? (mind i'm not tokin abt screen resolution here) tx in advance 4 ur kind reply.

this phone is by far #1 choice on my xmas list... it has every important specifications well exept for the wlan, but if u notice no other cell phone as the combination of edge,3g, gprs,hscsd,a browser, 3mp camera, mp3, everything in one.. unless there other out there.. besides is perfect match one for you and one for your girl.. lol.. both would have the same functions and video calling where available of course..lol... that just me.. im no geek i can't say is the best out there. but it has what i need and thats what counts,, right? lol..

Internal memory is only 5mb, holds microsd cards up to 2gb. newmobile.com has video resolution as 176*144, that is just poor.

Again, stop questioning abt the position of the 3mp camera.
The 3mp camera WITH flash is in the back of the phone.
Inside the phone is the internal camera for video call AND the light sensor for adjusting the screen lighting (Which u can see it in new Nokia smartphones)
And the internal screen is 16.7 mil colour, not just 256k
