keep it charging foe a descent amount of time that its fully charget
-Disconnect the charger and remove battery.
-Wait for about ten seconds and inseert the battery to start the device.

-When you see the NOKIA welcome screen, immediatley press and hold two keys on the left side (the [= key and the Menu key) and shortly after that press and hold the second key from the top on the right side on the phone.
-Confirm that you want to format. Formatting will start.

if you feel slow try installing switcher
for best video experience use TCPMP
for best browsing use BOLT browser
fro best Downloading use UCWeb
fro best Audio player use OGG Player
i am still using it works fine on Gsm GPRS cant say about 3G
for those who wants its battery you can get it from Grant Road , MUMBAI ask your friend who is going to India
also you can get a tiny 3.5 audio jack converter from the same place
firmware update is a risky business since no-one in the market truly understand this phone anymore so dont risk it..

Nokia 7710 is an Ultimate device produced by Nokia. I am using this phone since 2006 and there is no problem except battery, which I recently changed to new one. Another worrisome fact about this device is its a little bit slow, but with a little patience its a joy to handle it....Cheers..

T-Mobile for example if its a 2.5G phone you cant surf on the phone because the network only supports 3G and 3.5G.
