Nokia big up am in Kenya and today when i pulled out ma 7710 in tha bus even the driver of the bus had to stop so that he can check out ma phone, am enjoying this piece of machine it surely defines who i am hope all the 7710 owners are having the same experience as me

picture taking is ok but video recording is bad.
Built in browser is slow but can view full web pages (just like browsing in the pc)
Use opera mini 4.1 instead for the browser, can still view full webpage and its fast.

Its a cool PDA, the reason that some people are disatisfied of this phone is because they expect features that you can find on a laptop or a desk top, Come on guys!!! the only thing that i find hard on this phone is finding a leather case. but overall this is a usable unit that i would hang on to as long as its working.

the 'delete communication detail' and 'clear log'are so close to each other that i accidently press the 'clear log' button, and i've tried my level best to retrieve it but could not. can anyone tell me how? otherwise its the best phone around i just love it!

my 7710 display only the nokia logo and reboot, i've tried formatting using the normal formatting key no respone. pls can any one tell me what to do. pls help thanks

i m the main "tecnique" in the bigest nokia care point in my country what my coleges have to do itīs what we call a swap service of the mother-board. what happen to your phone was a fatal error in the sistem so the only way to repare it its the "swap". any doubt you can contact your nokia local line.

My 7710's screen went blank when tried to change SIM. Nokia care could not revive it. Did this occur to anyone? Any ideas on how I can get it working? - Venkat

Yes, you surely can use this set as GSM modem to surf internet from your PC/Laptop. I'm in Bangladesh. I used it and got very good performance. Just install the Nokia PC suite, then modem driver will be installed. Then you may have to write the AT command (I had to write).
