Does Nokia 8 camera have RAW (dng) support? I could not find any mentioning about dng support anywhere.
Most people who are serious about their pictures like to shoot raw, and many past Nokia (flagship) phones have had that feature.
The flexibility which raw images provide is tremendous benefit to serious photographer compared to any sw filters added to in-phone camera apps. Just worry about focus, exposure and composition. Everything else you can fix afterwards on PC. And best part - shooting raw does not mean that those people who are happy with jpg out of phone could not have those in phone tools!
most hater commentators here is from samsung fan boys. they are scared of nokia because the king of mobile industry is still here even how many people put it down. nokia is a big company they do a lot of things for their users not just only producing phones but also in many angle on field of industry.
why on earth would they give it an F-stop of 2.0? that is not going to be that good in low light... Samsung phones have got and F. stop of 1.7. F1.7 is far greater in low light than F2.0. iPhone is said to be coming out with F1.7 (low light is going to be amazing, as the aperture is bigger to let in more light.... the sensor is also to be said to be at 1/2.5" for the iPhone 8...... I know what camera phone I'm going for....
