hey Carol
my 808 has a battery of 1400 mah but phonetinfo shows battery nominal capacity of 1320 mah. And one more problem even after fully charging phonet info shows only 90 % and 1200 mah charged. What shud i do. Is this the phone's defect or the app's. One more thing my battery drains quicker too i have to charge it in 12 hrs. Please suggest appropriate solution.

Maps works offline but you need to be patient, sometimes it takes 5 min. to find your location. Don't try to use it in a building. Many times it won't find you if you are offline. If what RODJ said doesn't work, do this factory reset one more time then reinstall the firmware via nokia suite. This should be enough.:)

> In reply to localhyd @ 2013-03-02 04:24 from 7tLu - click to readDon't be disappointed friend. I believe nothing is perfect in this world, in any phone, or even with ourself as a human being we're far from perfect. There's always strengths and weaknesses in everything. The same is true with phones, System, and electronic devices.

When my Symbian phone got hang I quickly fix it with one of these:
1)Close all open apps, or
2)Turn Off / Restart my phone, or
3)Pull out the battery for 1-2 minutes (only if hang persisted)

Fortunately we the easy way out. BTW you have an awsome phone friend. Cheers.

> In reply to anonymouse @ 2013-03-04 01:35 from XNtq - click to readhi good day, im rodj one of the nokia user who have a problem like you experience too. Carol told me this procedure which help me a lot. First, back up your files from phone to pc. Second, after you finish the first step from your mobile, dial *#7370# and your phone will refresh everything. After that format everything looks new and awesome. And your nokia store will refresh :)

Thanks once again Carol,
i desperately need some advices from you regarding camera settings.
Taking photos in low light, weather increasing iso with flash off will do all or any thing else ?
Next what are the settings for taking photos against bright sunlight as this 808 camera doesn't have hdr mode.
Any apps for panaroma?

i finally got a White Nokia 808 PureView... updated it to FP2 OTA... multiple selection in Gallery not available... OS is as smooth as butter... few things missing - stopwatch, timer, GPS not working offline in spite of latest map update for my area, no burst mode, no panaroma... but i love my new purchase

> In reply to phaniraj @ 2013-03-02 18:53 from U{hH - click to readPS. if you want to buy an app, be careful what file format you receive from your bank through email. So, there is an .pdf app that reads password protected files http://store.ovi.com/content/1...h&pos=1, here you can see it. Try to download first from some other parts too see if it works. Cause i don't guarantee it will work.

> In reply to phanirajs @ 2013-03-03 12:34 from U{0n - click to readHey, i didn't use belle fp2 so much, but you can try this: In belle refresh gallery is quite simple to make a folder and to move what ever files you like in this folders. (in belle fp2 you cannot move more files in the same time, but i think will work if you try to do it one by one) All you need to do is to mark them and to select options/add to album, then rename the album whatever you like and there you have it:). Then to see pictures by folders you just need to enter gallery then press the right screen from right up corner (under the battery) and you see some categories. Captured/favorites and then comes your created albums. With Nokia photo browser 2 you cannot create albums but you can see them more easy and intuitive. Another way to make folders (or albums) is to use Files app, then go to mass memory/images and there create a folder. So to move what ever you like in this folder. Nokia browser2 will see this folder as an album as long as it will contain image files. Unfortunately, the prebuild gallery will not see it at all instead, it will see only the pictures. Now, the rest of your question i didn't quite get it:-??. It is not something to understand:)).
