> In reply to localhyd @ 2012-12-20 16:14 from 7tKN - click to readYes, i used android phones and tablets (never owned). But i could not hold to them to much (though i am a tech lover). Plans to buy one? Nope. i don't like nothing that is out there. Maybe if Nokia will release one, i would give my money on that crappy system. But just cause is nokia, and i trust Nokia to make it work. Also, build Nokia quality cannot be compared to othersp. Have you ever touch/used Samsung products? They are just pathetic. I would pay so much money on those things when pigs would fly.

> In reply to harishdev @ 2012-12-20 07:29 from 2@xf - click to readThe codecs support are only for: DivX/XviD/MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV player. I'm not sure if you can resolve your questions by downloading another Video Player.

The easiest way for you is to convert the avi and mkv format to one of these: DivX/XviD/MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV player. Enjoy your movies friend.

> In reply to [deleted post]I don't have problems playing .avi files in my n8, so i doubt that 808 cannot. It must be your files to have a coding problem. Also .mkv files can be played but some play without sound (if not all). As for a player. There is Lonelycatgames smartmovie. I don't know what this player support's anymore. I haven't used it sience nokia n70.

> In reply to localhyd @ 2012-12-20 06:05 from 7tLu - click to readHey, have you used the path in advanced options to? If yes, then..... Sorry was not so much helpful. As for the gallery, you can not. The gallery reads all the pictures in your mobile. Your pictures are already stored in folders, in root memory. But gallery is made to read them all in a one place. You can use some other tweeks to move your personal pics. For example in massmemory, you can create personal folder in system folder (system folder can be seen only with advanced file managers, like x-plore or with mod's). Gallery will not read that folder... As for multiple pics uploading via social networks, or e-mail. I don't know, i don't use this things. Maybe somebody with more experience in socializing via mobile phone, can help you:)

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-12-19 12:44 from s{Lv - click to readnote that this browser doesn't support flash player, that's also no flash plug in either, the best browser now is the original nokia web browser built-in in your phone,it supports full web viewing, including flash,no plug in needed.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-12-19 11:17 from PUsP - click to readBoth 808 and N8 are great phones. But 808 is better because it has: Bigger processor, Higher RAM, Larger screen, and Newer technology especially 41 MP camera with 4x lossless digital zoom, Rich Recording Tech, ClearBlack display, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby headphone enhancement, NFC, 1080p@30fps Video with lossless digital zoom. I recommend 808PV.

I've already asked the question about the optional video player, but nobody gave an answer to my question. i've bought 808 two days before. i download a movie and tried to play it but it couldn't played. the movie is in .avi format and another one is in .mkv format. however movie on .mp4 format ran smoothly. my question is, is there any video player which can play these formats with ease?
