Nokia 808 Pureview claims to record video sound in Dolby digital mode. Can anybody confirm if that is true?

> In reply to V @ 2012-09-27 05:35 from XNvc - click to readIt is because of the huge pre-installed applications.. Asphalt 6, just to name one. And also because of the Maps. Note that the maps for entire region comes preloaded on the mass memory of your phone. For example, if you bought your phone in egypt, maps for the entire middle east & north africa (MENA) will come preloaded on your phone, saved on mass memory. regional maps usually comes more that 1 GB depending on your region.

Just got my lovely 808 PureView white today (27-Sep-12). Still exploring the phone functions now. But the available mass memory is only about 11GB. Anyone has the same thing?

You will have to download and install the SIP_VoIP_3_1_Settings_Symbian_3_v1_0_en Settings same as other Symbian phones
Just search for it and install All you have to do is put in your username and password all the rest is done for you

Does this phone support SIP like Nokia E72, and Other Symbian series. I mean integrated SIP (VOIP) support or not?

I own 808,N8 and hav also used Galaxy S III. 808 happens to be the shiniest star in the NEXUS of current mobiles. If you are happy only with applications Galaxy SIII is for you but if you want almost every thing bundled up in a single mobile then just go for 808. 808 is well thought out mobile of the recent times. As Samsung says Galaxy SIII is for humans, I say 808 is for super humans.Nokia has created mobiles that is years ahead in every aspect even in OS, other mobiles and OS's crash verrrrry frequently but SYMBIAN crashes are rare.So go for the best OS that is symbian. Wheigh for your self what you need Applications Or RELIABILITY. Option is yours.

> In reply to mustafafcb @ 2012-09-24 12:41 from 6vUE - click to readIf you stop wifi and data connections when you don't need them using the drop-down notification bar, you easily get 4 to 5 days battery life with moderate usage. Actually, i get 5 full days on one charge with 2-3 calls, 5-6 sms, 2-3 mailbox connections, a few google searches per day. During the week-end, intensive calling, surfing, watching and taking videos, playing games and music, using gps, FM TX and all the other features can rapidly drain the battery (within 16-24H depending on usage)...

I can't wait any longer to buy this awesome, amazing device produced by my most favorite and most trusted brand Nokia. 3110c, e63, 5800 xpressmusic, n82, e5, n8 and now this is going to be my next Nokia phone, The Amazing 808pureview. :) just few days to go.
Though n8 disappoints me in camera. it wasn't that good I expected. n82 was better than n8. this is my personal opinion. hehe don't argue on that. haha.
hope 808 won't disappoint me. :)
