Bored with Symbian bashers, its been with me since 3650..Get gravity on to get all your social needs..Video camera and camera and audio will all be top notch..Symbian has all the usual apps..Their is nothing Symbian cannot really do and does it with superb battery life..

This has the boosted CPU and harware quality so whats not to like..Maybe Symbian will be faster under new CPU..I am getting this as an upgrade from N8..Its the only phone (besides N8 and before that N86) that you can take to club/concert and video recording sound will come out clear in the bass department..Even the SGS3 which i am buying will not handle the bass elements on a night out.

So this is my going out phone and with this superb camera may become my main smartfone,BUT, i still can not recreate the concert hall setting of the Samsungs..All the API and DLL are their in 3D ringtones to create the desired Effect..All it neeeds is a developer to make these options ie Cave/Railway station available in music player and BANG the 808 will be my main device. I have emailed a few developers but no joy.

So get the 3D ringtone setting as settings in music player and the 808 is one capable device.Maybe Dolby may help will have to see..Oh and 1080p with losseless zoom my goodness absolute top notch hardware and software.

It is you who is terribly misinformed. Why don't you try searching the internet first and read the complaints of android users. One specific example is the google nexus. You can't upgrade it to ICS. Look at nokia N8. A 2 year old phone but can be upgraded to belle. There are still other problems android have. Not to mention its system resource appetite. One reason why android phones have very poor battery life.

Android is a promising OS. It is supported by a long list of software and applications that's why people like you are saying it is the best OS. Little do they (and you) know, these apps are there to give you false satisfaction. You are satisfied and with incredible downloadable apps, you tend forget the problems android has. Since you are now hooked with android, you will tend to buy phones powered by android and forget the cons. Now that is a marketing strategy.

I am not saying Symbian does not have problems. It has its own problems, too. But not as big as android.

Now, to rate your knowledge on this matter: LOW.

I will not go down to your level. Educate yourself first before discussing with me.

Why should we buy this amazing phone if Nokia said Symbian isn't good for no one.
One year ago Nokia was the best seller in the world, but now it's going on bankruptcy.

> In reply to Rs @ 2012-05-21 15:09 from t1$A - click to readOh come on, Symbian is perfect for a lot of people. Let's say you have money, but you don't need to be on the internet 24/7, or on Facebook constantly, you have a career, a life, a love, a dog, no time for 100000 apps and games, you travel, and maybe not a huge data plan because you already have a computer or are abroad. You just want a good phone but not something that's 10 Euro cheap, but something solid and reliable from a respected brand (okay, some people like Chevrolets, some like Hyundai, some like Cadillac... and some like a Mercedes even if it offers "less" specs for the same money). So, if you want a "good, serious phone" and not a videogame-like smartphone, this is perfect and it can still do way more than you really need. Also, why would Symbian die? Feature phones haven't died, and still a lot of people (even rich ones) buy them because they aren't slaves to the internet and apps.
